Sumajin is offering a brand new Ink case for the fifth-generation iPod nano. The case is constructed of 1.5mm-thick high quality silicone and so will protect your Nano 5G from scratches. The Ink case will give you open access to all ports, controls, and the all important camera. So everything is accessible.

The Ink case is available in a whole bunch of colors and retails for $15 each. They don’t destroy the sexiness of your Nano all that much compared to some other cases.

LG has unveiled the LG GD510, a nice loking and compact 3-inch full touchscreen phone with WQVGA display resolution (240 x 400), 8GB internal memory and a 3 megapixel camera. The LG GD510 is made from brushed aluminum and features a single button on the bottom of the face that functions as the menu, end and cancel keys, depending on what mode the phone is in.

The focus is on an optimized feature set for a more compact phone that’s easier to use. Apparently the GD510 has an optional solar panel add-on, which replaces the battery cover with a solar panel for recharging.

This beautiful item is the kind of thing that separates the real nerds from the pretenders. The NES controller netbook cover is for true nerds only.

What’s not to love? It looks just like the classic controller, is soft to the touch and keeps your netbook nice and cozy. It’s made of felt, so don’t be afraid to caress and gently stroke it my dork friend.

Jorge Colombo’s cover for the June 1, 2009 issue of The New Yorker was created entirely in the Brushes iPhone app. Jorge told The New York Times that the device allows him to work “without having to carry all my pens and brushes and notepads with me.” And with results like the image above, what’s the difference really?

In this way an artist can also work without parking an easel and canvas along with art supplies in a public space, which allows him to be left alone. For this cover, he spent an hour on 42nd Street, and had no interruptions.

I personally can’t imagine wrapping any laptop in something this fugly. But maybe the Cos is making a comeback or something. These are one size fits all and will cost you $20 each. That way, you and your little dog and your laptop can all wear the same sweater.
