Doritos, now searching the cosmos for alien consumers
In a joint project, the University of Leicester and Doritos have been working together to create and broadcast the first commercial aimed squarely at aliens. You know, because they might be looking for a different kinda chip after all several millenia of the same old junk.

Maverick Professor and crazy as a bag of chips, Darren Wright says that “everything is going as planned” and that it’s sure to be “an historical moment for it is the first time that we will broadcast a message to the space, far beyond our Solar System.” The target seems to be alien consumers located about 42 light years from the Earth, in an area that’s virgin territory for Cool Ranch and the mystery flavor gimmick known as “The Quest”. I’m sure they’re itching to corner the market in that sector of space before everyone from Coke to Pringles starts sending their own spam.

Awesome looking Sony PSP 2 concept
Check out this pic of a new Sony PSP 2 concept. It’s pretty sweet looking and has a pretty big screen. Kotaku had a contest to see what kind of cool PSP 2 concepts readers could come up with, and this is one of them. Watching movies on this one would be very nice. Unfortunately, they don’t really exist. There were some pretty interesting designs, and some haha funny ones, but this is one of my favorites.

Review: iPhone Otterbox Defender

iPhone Otterbox Defender
In honor of our current contest, Otterbox sent me their Defender case for review. Keep the funny comments coming guys(and gals), you have until midnight on Valentine’s day to enter. I have to say, you people are really surprising me with your creativity. Now, on with the review.

The Otterbox is probably the most rugged iPhone case I’ve seen. Comprised of plastic and rubber, it couldn’t be easier to install. It will protect not only the body, but the screen as well. It’s water resistant NOT water proof.(Don’t go swimming with it, ye of withered braincells) I found it interesting that the Defender actually protects the headphone jack, serial jack, speakers and mic, helping keep any debris safely outside.

Score an Otter Box iPhone case

Otter Box iPhone case
These Otter Box iPhone cases are a great way to protect your precious iPhone. They come in the Defender or Armor series. The Defender is a semi-rugged, slim fit case that gives you complete user interaction plus an attractive look and feel. This case is not fully waterproof, but it shields your iPhone from dust, dirt and most importantly drops. The Armor series is a more rugged case that safeguards the device from rain, dust, dirt, again most importantly falls.

We know you paid alot for the sexy device, so we want to see you protected. That’s why Otterbox has agreed to send 3 lucky readers their choice of either the Defender series or Armor cases.
