This camera will catalog your entire life with pictures, based on how you were feeling at the time. The concept camera fits over-the-ear and sees what you see. Makes me wonder if designer Akbiyik Volkan has memory problems, or maybe he just likes to be reminded about what he’s feeling for some unknown reason. Probably just a control freak.

Me, I don’t get it. I have my memory to tell me how I was feeling this day or that day. Then again, these days, with so many people on prescription drugs and otherwise, walking around like zombies, this may be a handy tool.

We probably all wish that remotes were simpler in design and function. The sPult will make your dreams come true. It was designed by Yurii Smitana Perfilov, and inspired by the iPod’s scroll wheel, which makes it a breeze to channel surf. Apple should have thought of it first.

Simple and elegant. It takes away all the complications and just gives you the bare essentials, which is all most of us need. It also has a favorites selector, volume up/down button, mute button and power button. That’s it. Nice.

T3 Magazine commissioned some future designs for their “future tech” feature. Here’s a Wii concept for 2010, which is right around the corner. Apparently blue hair is all the rage in the future. And I’m guessing that her bra has bluetooth to control some game by pure boob boucing and nipple position.

It should be noted that in 2010 brainwaves are used to control characters with some head gear, which also sports in-ear headphones. It’s nice to see the Wiimote all thin and streamlined, with just one button too. I’m looking forward to blue haired girl gamers gripping my Wiimote in 2010. Thank you Nintendo. Thank you future.

If you figure PCs should look like a bizarre abstract UFO, or maybe resemble a Sit and Spin type toy with a CD tray sticking out, you are not alone. Designer Won-Seok Lee apparently agrees.

The B-membrane computer concept does away with monitors entirely, instead opting for a built-in projector that will beam the display onto any surface. The membrane keyboard shows up whenever it’s needed as well as a built-in optical drive. It will probably be some time before we see something like this become a reality. It’s just not that easy to make a PC of the future look like the inside of a washing machine.

If you don’t want to pick up a Segway for $5,000, you might want to check this out. It’s a manually-powered unicycle that will get you around town. To onlookers you will appear to be skiing on the sidewalk while sweating like a fat kid in gym class.

You might want to consider the workout tubby, what with rising gas prices. I’m sure your boss will let you park it inside too, to prevent theft. Won’t that be swell? Laughed at on the way to work and laughed at during. Oh, and on the way home. Sadly, it is but a concept, so you’ll have to find another way around for now.

At last, a concept that lets you line up someone’s nipples and give them new life. The idea is that you would have this handy if someone collapses and needs CPR. It’s not intended for any kinky nipple fetish you may have.

Just slap it on the chest, line up nipples and follow the instructions. It flashes to show you the proper timing, and clicks to let you know if you’re using the right pressure. It just might help save a life or two.

The price of gas being what it is, and considering what it will reach, suddenly all kinds of personal transport concepts are looking more promising. Take the Electric Bike Train for instance. In a world of skyrocketing gas prices, it’s the perfect electric bike for an entire large family.

It’s designed by Jiang Qian, and while I can’t find anything about just how many bikes can be linked up, I would guess quite a few. The front wheel connects to the two rear tires of the next unit. See, even when gas is unaffordable, you can still listen to your kids bitch and whine and ask “Are we there yet?”.

This concept phone by Takumi Yoshida, looks wavier than a water bed bearing a Sumo wrestler. That’s because it’s made for the blind and the nearly blind, with lighted sides that help convey different alert messages and curvy tactile keys that make it distinguishable for the visually impaired.

It would also be good for those users who want to feel as if they have squeezed their phone into a different shape, causing it to bulge. Great idea for the sight-impaired as there aren’t many phones they can use easily.

The dumbbell hasn’t had an upgrade in a long time, if ever. Well, now suddenly they are getting smarter. What if you could have an entire set of dumbbells in one compact design? That’s the idea behind this concept by Sang-Hoon Lee.

You can digitally adjust the weight of the dumbbell. There are tiny balls inside the dumbbell that spin. The faster the balls spin, the heavier they weigh, thereby beefing you up so you don’t look like a girly man. You can adjust the speed of the balls, which adjusts the weight, simply with a dial and pushing buttons. The set comes with a charger cradle..

I’m not sure if Superman is a Mac or PC guy, but I do know that this QWERTY Glass Keyboard would look right at home in his fortress of solitude. Clark Kent on the other hand would have nothing to do with this. It’s called the No-key Keyboard by Kong Fanwen and it looks awesome.

Aside from being the flattest full-size QWERTY keyboard yet, it would be easy to keep clean. If it ever comes to market, you get the full glass surface, camera and lighting that uses motion capture technology to translate finger movements into characters on the screen. Of course, you’d want to treat it like the delicate piece of glassware it is, and be careful. And remember, it’s not a novelty plate to serve snacks on.

Here’s another great concept phone. Aside from being a slider, the Intuit is a new approach as far as design. It takes after the iPhone as far as having a touch screen and even has a second screen for user input. It also sports a 5 megapixel camera with built in editing software, a touch keypad with tactile feedback, and even a chemical-based solar skin that will charge the battery when exposed to the sun’s rays. I don’t know about you, but I was taught to never leave my phone in the hot sun. Anyway, it certainly looks pleasing. Is it intuitive or not? Hell if I know. If it ever gets released, I guess we’ll find out.

I think we can agree that most speakers are just plain boring. Sure, there are exceptions to that rule, but not nearly enough. The Speak-er concept manages to say quite alot. We like it’s simple and clever design.

It’s designed to be an attention getter with it’s familiar shape and it’s hard not to notice it, halfway expecting text to pop up. It would probably be very appropriate if it displayed the lyrics of whatever you were listening to.

The Vibering is a concept device for the hearing impaired from designers Kwang-seok Jeong, Min-hee Kim and Hyun-joong Kim. The idea is to help the hearing impaired keep in touch with the world at large. The device has a sound detection and identification system within. The user would wear it as jewelry, no different then a pair of rings and a watch. The rings act as ears and hear the sound around the wearer.

They calculate distance and position, vibrating accordly, giving the user valuable information on their surroundings, through the watch part, which processes the sound and displays the results. It will even understand some phrases like “Excuse Me”, your name and car horns. This would be a miracle device for the hearing impaired should it come to pass.

Jackson Pollock called, he wants his watch back. Lately, it’s become more fashionable to wear a watch that would puzzle anyone looking over your shoulder trying to get the time, then an everyday watch. Designer Denis Guidone came up with the idea that is simply named “Ora Unica,” or One Hour.

So how does one make any sense out of the scribbled line that occupies the face of this watch? Apparently, it has two circular faces, with the minute hand on one and the hour hand on the other. As time marches on, the scribble changes. I know, that explanation doesn’t really help. It’s crazy. I’m guessing it’s 11:40 or so in the pic. If I owned it, I know what I’d be saying. Time to get a new watch.

This concept by Dutch designers looks like a Star Trek shuttlecraft on wheels. The basic idea is that the cabin on top of the platform can move around during a crash, which would hopefully keep the passengers inside safely out of any areas that would crumple and get hit during the impact.

The passengers could theoretically be exposed to much less force and the car wouldn’t get damaged quite as badly. That cuts down on injuries and death of course. It’s an awesome idea if it works the way they think it does. Probably the weakest area would be where the cabin and the platform meet. If they can make that super durable, it’s a concept that should work.
