Acer adds new professional LCD monitors

Acer recently added two new LCD display families for professionals. These are known as the Business Series (B-Series) and Value Series (V-Series) and you’ll find them pricing between around $185 and $400.

These two new Acer display line ups will range in screen size from 17- to 24-inches and make use of “Acer eColor Management, a technology which adapts the performance of the panel to different environments, lighting conditions and viewing preferences.” You get can full details of these new displays via the company press release after the jump.

Samsung talks up new “Touch of Class” computer displays

Samsung Touch of Class desktop monitors

Samsung detailed this week its new line up of “Touch of Class” (TOC) desktop monitors. These models include the T190, T220, T240 and T260, with pricing ranging from around $260 to $600.

These Samsung TOC displays have a self-described minimalist design and a “deep ruby red infusion that complements its piano-black, glossy finish.” They mostly have a maximum contrast ratio of 20,000:1 and varying GTG response times. The T240 and T260 also sport HDMI connections.
