You can customize the color of the PS3 logo, the top of the console, or the bottom. That way you can make it look super funky.

Once it’s been colorized, everything is high-gloss and scratch resistant, so it’s more than just a paint job. If you want to send yours in, it will cost you $149 or you can just buy one from them for $449.

Matte Black MacBook ProThis $6000 Colorware MacBook Pro is so black that it may just suck up starlight, planets, ships named Enterprise and even slurp up a galaxy or two for dessert. It’s the ultimate in stealth computing. Do you like what you see? Too bad.

There are only ten available, costing $6000 each. So you and I won’t be laying hands on it. But we can still admire it’s pitch black stealthiness and pretend.

Just like the iPhone 3G, and your DS. So, if you want to beat your precious gadget upside the face with an ugly stick, the folks at Colorware will gladly help.

It doesn’t have to be ugly of course, you can put together something striking I’m sure. Just be certain it’s what you want before you commit. A solid color will run you $129, but if you want a different top, bottom, frame or sides, it will be higher. You could just love your device for who it is, which is the cheapest option and it will love you back. Maybe.

G1 and BlackBerry Bold get the Colorware treatmentIf a gadget has sufficiently proven itself and done well in school, won our hearts and minds, it will eventually be rewarded with the chance to get itself the Colorware treatment. That time has come for the G1 and the Bold, and we are very proud, despite not being their parents.

It will cost you $150 to dress up your current T-Mobile handset in technicolor, or the company will ship you a brand new one $725. The BlackBerry Bold will cost $139 and $674 for the makeover. The price is steep sure, but with rave colors like this, you can’t afford not to have your handset match your pacifier and fancy light-sticks.

Colorware now pimping Guitar Hero axes
Colorware isn’t content to just make your PSP’s and Nintendo DS look awesome. Now they want to spruce up your Guitar Hero axe. I have to say, it looks pretty awesome.

The service is available for the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. New users can score one for as little as $198, while current thrashers can send their guitar in and get it colorized for as little as $99. If you are on a budget, don’t even go look at the eye candy, because you won’t be able to help yourself.

PSP gets Colorware option April 14th

PSP gets Colorware
Like the DS Lite, the Sony PSP will be receiving the Colorware option starting April 14th. So for those of you who aren’t thrilled with the usual color palette, this is good news. It probably means that the new Bronze color and the Mint aren’t doing it for you. I don’t blame you. Bronze? Mint? The first is a statue color, the latter should be reserved for Girl Scout cookies.

There’s no word on what it will cost just yet to jazz up your PSP, but I would think that it’d be equivalent to the price for the DS Lite. Let’s face it, it beats th hell out of taking a can of Krylon to your console.

Colorware wants to pimp your DS Lite

Colorware adds some flair to your DS Lite
We love our gadgets to come in an assortment of colors. Hopefully they match our style or say something about us. To that end, Colorware will now spruce up Nintendo’s famed DS Lite. If Nintendo doesn’t offer a color to your liking, now’s your chance to do something about it. If you like, you can send in your current unit and receive it back in a whole new outfit. Or you can get a new DS Lite that’s already modified.

One cool aspect is that Colorware lets you paint the main frame, button pad, front port, bottom, L / R buttons and even the stylus separately…for and added fee. You could come up with some very cool and I suspect, also some very putrid combinations. Like the old Knight said to Indy…Choose wisely.
