Circuit board LED tie

Posted in Apparel by Conner Flynn on May 5th, 2011

We’ve seen cool circuit board patterned ties before, but this one is the coolest. Why? Because this one actually lights up. The lights almost make it seem like a real circuit board. Now if you could just add ram and upgrade the processor, it would be complete.

A great pair of light up cuff links would complete the look and make you entirely geek chic. Pretty awesome attire if you ask us. Hopefully it’s quality made and will last a while.

Nothing says geek like a circuit board and whether you are a programmer, or just a lover of all things electronic, your attire should reflect your personality. This circuit board tie is awesomely geek chic. You will look good while making other tech geeks jealous.

It was created by artist Michael Phipps and the circuit patterns are a combination of copper and metallic paint on a microfiber surface. It would go great with a Circuit board shirt, so you’ll just have to find one to complete the look.

Behold one of the coolest business cards ever. Ramiro Pareja Veredas created this business card constructed from an actual Printed Circuit Board complete with working electronics. His information has been etched on the board and the card also comes with breakaway corners that make it double as a USB flash drive.

It only holds 24KB of memory which should be enough for a resume or cover letter. Produced in small batches, the cards cost about 5 euros a piece. Pretty awesome way to land a job.

Motherboard Mirror / nerd reflector

Motherboard Mirror nerd reflectorCheck out this mirror inspired by circuit boards. It looks pretty cool and retro in an 80s kind of way. Sadly this mirror will only ever know nerd faces on it’s shining surface. Non nerds show up distorted like some carnival funhouse mirror.

But the coolest aspect of this mirror is what they won’t tell you when you order. If you are the one true nerd, you will have no reflection at all. Like a vampire. That is how you will know that you are the chosen one. All that will be left to do is step through into another world…
