Japanese earthquake gear for cats & dogs
Those who live in Japan never know when the next big earthquake is going to hit. So the order of the day is to be prepared. Be prepared for the earthquake and if you have pets, be prepared to be a sucker and get them a cat or dog survival suit. It comes with a few essentials and a few items strictly thrown in to get your sucker money.

The items? Water & Biscuits which of course are required for your pet’s survival. Aromatherapy oils…so your pet can be safe from the smell of death in a disaster? Four rubber shoes for their delicate feet…Presumably so Fido won’t hurt his little feet on the rubble everywhere. They even throw in some sealed bags…for some reason. And of course, the flame retardant carrying case with storage pockets.

Mega-Sonic Scatter-Cat Repeller

Mega-Sonic Scatter-Cat Repeller
Here’s the perfect way to look like a dork while scaring off pesky varmints from your property. The Mega-Sonic Scatter-Cat Repeller looks like a megaphone because it is a megaphone. It might have been cooler if they actually made it look like a gun, but they wanted to laugh at those who use it. To use it, just point it at the cat, bird, dog, squirrel or other critter and pull the trigger. An ultrasonic signal that’s undetectable to the human ear will scare off the animal from up to 65 feet away. It may take a few blasts before the animal gets the hint, but they will leave you alone.

It even has a laser sight that’s activated when you pull the trigger, so that you know the signal is being aimed in the right direction. Interestingly, it can also be switched to a sonic signal that can be heard by humans. That way, those damn kids can get the hell off your lawn.

The CatBox 360: Games for cats
Cats want games too. If your cat wants to get into some gaming action, now they can thanks to the CatBox 360. When your cat steps into the automatic litter box, a new game is activated and a random music track begins. Colored indicators scroll down the LCD screen like in Guitar Hero or Rock Band.

When the cat’s paws scratch across the litter, it triggers the notes, and every time your cat “answers nature’s call” in the litter box, the game enters a bonus multiplier mode for extra points. Some tunes include: Cat Scratch Fever, Stray Cat Strut, and of course, Cool for Cats. The makers of the game warn that a handful of cats have started “doing their business” whenever they hear music playing, so be careful when you use your stereo. You may have a clean up waiting for you. No price or release date yet. Don’t hold your breath…Or do hold your breath since your cat won’t be able to stop playing.
