Snoopy Flying Ace USB hub

Posted in USB by Conner Flynn on September 13th, 2009

Snoopy Flying Ace USB hubIf you are a Snoopy/Peanuts fan, you’ll want to add this Snoopy Flying Ace USB hub to your desktop collection. You probably already have a Snoopy laptop anyway. Just plug the Snoopy USB hub into your computer’s USB port and Snoopy and his plane will start moving.

You can pretend he’s fighting the Red Baron, despite the fact that there’s no Red Baron. And the fight will take place entirely in your imagination and on your desk and not in the sky. In fact the thing looks silly, moving up and down like a kid’s ride outside of a department store. But if you like such things it will cost you $58.67 USD. Video below.

Betty Boop phone from Samsung

Betty Boop phone from SamsungDo people actually find Betty Boop sexy? I just don’t get it. But hey, whatever floats your cartoon boat. Fans of the animated bombshell can now get her likeness on a Samsung phone. Samsung has introduced the Betty Boop edition phone in France.

The phone features the cartoon seductress all over, and is apparently aimed at sad men and younger girls, which are the same thing. It will cost you 129 Euros and some ho-hum specs include: GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 65K colors display, MP3 player, FM radio, VGA camera, MicroSD card slot, Talk time: up to 3 hours, Stand-by time: up to 192 hours.

Mini Cartoon Mouse FM radio

Mini Cartoon Mouse FM radioI would venture to guess that there’s not many of us looking for a stand-alone radio in the age of iPods. But if you do like carrying around an FM radio, why not make it this cute little cartoon mouse? He’s even got a spring tail, which I assume means that he’s happy to see you. Best of all, he’ll only cost you $6.99, but you’ll need 2 AAA batteries.

Sadly, you can’t even use this mouse as a portable mouse. If I were you I would hurry. Innovation like this won’t stay in stock for long. I haven’t seen such amazing vision in a gadget since the Creative Zen Moo.

Garfield MP3 player is cheap, lazy

Garfield MP3 player is cheap
While Garfield may be lazy, those who market his likeness are not. That’s because many people seem to have a special place in their heart for the cartoon cat. He’s alot like you and me. He loves to sleep, eat, watch tv and make sly comments, then repeat the whole process.

For $7.99 what’s not to love? Surplus Computers has a 256MB Garfield Mp3 Player that is expandable with a SD card slot and also features built-in mic recording. You’ll also notice the matching orange earbuds. For $13.99 they’ll even throw in the extra 1GB card. No matter what, this MP3 player has to be better then the Garfield movie right?

Mickey Mouse speaker is all ears

Mickey Mouse speaker is all ears
If you love Mickey and want a pair of speakers to stick in your iRiver MP3 player, this might be for you. As you can see, he’s all ears as usual with his typical goofy grin. (What’s the deal with only having Mickey. What about Donald Duck? No one likes Donald?)

The stereo speaker measures 6.3 x 3.46 x 4.96 in, weighs about 21 oz, and connects to any music player using a 3,5mm stereo audio jack. Looks like it comes in silver only. You can get it from DealExtreme for $20.10.

Musical SpongeBob digital thermometer

Musical SpongeBob digital thermometer
It never ceases to amaze me just how many SpongeBob related products are on the market. You would think his popularity would wane, but he must have nearly as many products as Star Wars by now. It also amazes me, how some of these products are not very well thought out.

For instance, this SpongeBob thermometer. It’s all cute and kid-like and la-de-da. It will even play music while being used. It actually plays the “SpongeBoob SquarePants Theme” which is all well and good, until you realize that this thermometer is for “oral, underarm AND rectal use”. Puts a whole other angle on any music playing cuteness. I mean really, is it weird for a kid to have a Spongebob’s head sticking out of his butt, playing the theme song? You tell me.
