Remember having fun at the amusement park when you were a kid and riding around in the bumper cars? Apparently, it’s a whole big thing to modify bumper cars so they’re street legal. Awesome idea, but would I be able to fight the urge to bump and shove others? Probably not.

They use a Kawasaki 750cc motorcycle engine for power, which allows them to reach sidestreet speeds. For some ungodly and unexplainable reason, they cost $50,000 to modify them so they’re street legal! That is bizarre. How is that possible when there is so little car involved?

Let’s say you’re a circus clown and you’re tired of that age old bit regarding too many clowns in a small vehicle. It might be time to upgrade that act. XP Vehicles could hold the key to your future success at kids parties and the circus alike. They have a strange idea of selling inflatable cars to everyone. They’ll be powered by batteries or fuel cells. Forget balloon animals Krusty. You can ride in one.

Don’t worry about punctures, the XP Vehicles will be using the same material that NASA uses in their airbags when things crash into Mars. Sharp objects on the road won’t slow you down. With the weight being lighter then normal vehicles, it apparently can travel for up to 2,500 miles on a single charge. Assembly will take about 2 hours and the cost is £2,500. Man, you are gonna be one cool clown. Just a few more kids parties and the dream is yours.

TV is everywhere. From the moment of it’s creation, it has spread into every corner of our lives, like the plague. It used to be you could get away from the TV in your car. Not anymore, thanks to USTelematics, who are delivering IPTV to their Voyager in-car entertainment systems.

And so, drivers can now be in the know regarding the latest antics of Desperate Housewives while stuck in rush-hour traffic. USTelematics will also offer a “mobilecast” program called 4VDO, which will deliver broadcast and video programming. I’m not sure if this is something our civilization needs, but who knows, maybe it will ease some Road rage.

We thought we’d take a little break from the usual and take a look at some cool art cars that geeks have modded into their own visions of coolness. So here’s some random pimped out tonnage of pure nerd love coming at ya. When a nerd has a car, all things are possible…Though it will usually end up having something to do with the Star Wars universe.

The Ferrari Limo is probably better suited for speed to get you to the club on time, but this H2 Hummer limousine with its triple axle setup gives you your own club on wheels.

This super-duty stretched version of the already-huge Hummer rolls on eight 22′s and hauls around 2 VIP lounges, disco floors and ceilings, some custom gull-wing doors in back and a level-5 sounds system. Take a look at a photo of the interior after the jump, which appears to be as roomy as they get. No details are given about how many people it can hold, but we’re guessing it’s enough.

We’ve seen some pretty cool limousines in our time (driving by of course, not the inside) but never one quite like this. Usually the folks stretching out a vehicle will do it with something that has a little more girth, giving its passengers a little party room.

In the case with this stretched Ferrari 360 Modena, it appears that the goal might be to ride in more of a sporty (cramped), luxurious style. This limousine has been dubbed the fastest limo in the world and still has those awesome gull-wing style doors, only bigger (9 feet).
