Samsung unveils HMX-T10 HD camcorder

Samsung just introduced its latest HMX-T10 camcorder, which features a 20-degree angled lens and the ability to capture up to 1920 x 1080 resolution videos and stills up to 4.7-megapixels. There’s also a 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD display so you can see what you’re filming while you are filming it.

Some other features include optical image stabilization, and a 10x zoom. It will cost you $299 when it arrives in September. If you’ve been holding off on a camcorder, this might be the one.

Kodak Playtouch camcorder and EasyShare M590

Kodak has unveiled a good looking new Playtouch pocket camcorder that records video at 1080p. The device also sports a SDHC card slot for storage and a 3 inch capacitive touch screen that comes in handy for editing images.

Some other features include easy USB data transfer, an HDMI port and a dedicated button to share stuff over the Internet via Youtube and Facebook. Kodak also announced the EasyShare M590 that features a 2.7 inch LCD screen, image stabilization, face recognition, HD video capture, microSD card support, Share button and a 5x optical zoom.

Sanyo Flip-Like Pocket Cam does 1080p at 30FPS

Sanyo is now offering its first Flip-type camera, with 3X optical zoom and dual-mics. The VPC-PD2BK will cost you just $170, which lines up nicely with the rest of the pocket cameras. And yes, it can do 1080P at 30FPS.

It takes 10-megapixel photos, has stereo sound recording, flash, is SD/SDHC/SDXC card compatible and measures 2.48 x 0.87 x 4.36. Those are some nice features packed into this tiny cam.

Ordro HDV-D350S HD Camcorder with built-in Pico Projector

We all love recording videos, but when it comes to sharing them with friends or family on that tiny display, it’s not so fun. That’s where the Ordro HDV-D350S HD camera comes to the rescue. It’s the first camcorder to feature a removable pico projector that can display images from the camcorder at 854 x 480 resolution and with 15 lumens of brightness.

The projector can display images up to 60-inches in size and it’s priced at $550 from Ordro. Some specs include a 10-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD display, 10x optical zoom, SD/SDHC memory card support and it can record video at 1440 x 1080 @ 60fps.

V-Swing is a camcorder for golfers

Canon VIXIA HF M32 camcorder

Canon’s VIXIA HF M32 camcorder features double its predecessor’s internal memory, with 64GB, which can be further enhanced thanks to the SDXC memory card slot. Canon’s Relay Recording feature lets you transit from one storage cell to another without having to interrupt the video.

There’s also an HD CMOS sensor that can shoot 3-megapixel stills, a 15x optical zoom lens with both optical and powered image stabilization, a 2.7″ touchscreen LCD display with Touch and Track functionality, and a DIGIC DV III processor.

Aiptek 3D photo frame displays your 3D camcorder’s photos and videos

When Aiptek introduced its i2 3D Camcorder, it promised to release a 3D photo frame to go with it. And here it is. The “Portable 3D Photo and Video Display” is a 7-inch parallax LCD display that will not require you to wear dorky glasses.

It can display photos and videos captured by the i2 or other 3D devices and releases on August 15 for just $200. So between the camera and viewer it will cost you $400.

Camcorder shoots 3D home videos

Aspiring 3D home video shooters can start filming their version of Avatar now. Hammacher Schlemmer is offering a 3D camcorder that is capable of recording 3D video at 640 x 480 pixel resolution. The interesting part is that users will be able to view the 3D content on the device’s screen, no 3D glasses required.

When you use a 4GB SD card, the camcorder uses both lenses and 3-megapixel sensor to record up to four hours of 3D video. You can also capture 2D and 3D still images and standard 2D videos. Not bad at all right?

Sanyo DMX-CA100 camcorder is waterproof and records 1080p video

Waterproof cameras are a great way to film both winter and summer sports without worrying that you will break your camera. Sanyo has announced a new camera that it claims to be the world’s first waterproof full HD camera.

The camcorder is the DMX-CA100 and will land in black, yellow, and pink colors in June. The camera is water resistant to IPX8 standards. That rates the camera for recording full 1080p video in up to 3 meters of water for an hour.

Samsung HMX-S16 WiFi SSD camcorder available in Korea

Looks like the Koreans will get the first shot at Samsung’s latest camcorders. The Samsung HMX-S16 camcorder is shipping in South Korea today in fact. This sexy black device boasts solid state storage and streaming video over WiFi. That’s reason enough to get one right there.

You won’t have to be jealous for long though. Amazon is already taking preorders for the 64GB model, which will ship May 28th for $1,200. You can also get the same 10 megapixel CMOS chip, 1080/60i recording and a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD in a cheaper $1,000, 32GB package as well, in the HMX-S15 coming June 4th.

Toshiba Camileo BW10 waterproof camcorder

The Camileo BW10 is Toshiba’s first waterproof camcorder, which should arrive at the end of June for £129.99 or about $186. This camcorder will record 1080p full HD videos at 30fps, while underwater up to two meters.

The Toshiba Camileo BW10 also boasts a 10x digital zoom, a maximum ISO up to 1600, SD card support up to 64GB, HDMI output, a 10 second self-timer and one button Youtube uploading.

Zoom Q3 camcorder gets a price cut

The Zoom Q3 camcorder landed here in the US back in October with a price tag of $249. The camera was most known for high quality sound recording capability.

The Q3 can record sound in stereo with 24-bit/48 kHz quality. The camera is mostly aimed at the YouTube fan wanting to upload video with quality audio as well. The camera has a video resolution of 640 x 480.

Drift Innovation X170 action camera unveiled

When it comes to recording action sports for YouTube and other video sites there are many cameras on the market. A new offering has been announced form a company called Drift Innovation. The camera us designed to be robust and records video and still shots.

Video resolution is recorded at 30 fps in 720 x 480 resolution. It takes 5MP still shots as well and has a built-in mic and speaker. The video format is MP4 or MJPEG AVI and is user selectable.

Toshiba unveils Camileo SX900 super zoom HD camcorder

Toshiba has announced that it will release the Toshiba Camileo SX900 camcorder in July 2010. This super zoom camcorder supports Full HD 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. The Camileo SX900 also features an HDMI port, so you can connect it to your HDTV to enjoy your favorite videos huge.

Some other features include a 2.7-inch fold out LCD display, 9x optical zoom and supports the SDXC memory card format. That’s not all. The Toshiba Camileo SX900 can also capture still images with its 14-megapixel CMOS sensor.
