codmappackI really liked Call of Duty: World at War on the PC. I didn’t buy the game on the PS3 or Xbox, but it is available on those systems as well. One of the things I like about the CoD franchise is that you can count on new maps being offered to keep the game fresh.

Activision has announced that the third map pack for World at War is now available for download on the PS3 and the Xbox. The map pack sells for $9.99 on the PS3 or 800 MS Points on the Xbox 360.

codmappackOne of the best shooters to hit the PC and consol systems in a while was Call of Duty: World at War. The game had great action, good multiplayer support, and voice-overs from top talent. Overall, the game was fantastic.

Activision has announced that the second map pack for the game is now available. The map pack is available for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 and offers four new maps. The maps include Banzai, a medium size map with a waterfall and Corrosion putting players in a Russian train yard.

codmappackI am a big Call of Duty fan and while I prefer Modern Warfare to the World War II setting, the most recent Call of Duty: World at War game was lots of fun. I don’t like to play my shooters on consoles personally; I stick to the PC for this type of game.

Lots of gamers prefer console systems though and Activision has announced today that Map Pack 1 for Call of Duty: World at War has hit a milestone. The pack has been downloaded over 2 million times combined on Xbox Live and the Sony Playstation Store.

modernwarfare2PC gaming is where I like to get my frag on; I can’t bring myself to play shooters on the PS3 or Xbox because of the controls. One of my favorite PC shooters ever was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game was great and had fantastic multiple player action.

I was honestly disappointed when the latest Call of Duty game went back to the World War II era, I had hoped for another modern setting for the next installment in the franchise. Infinity Ward and Activision announced recently that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be coming to store shelves this year.
