Revolver Camera shoots a bullet, takes a picture

Posted in Weapons by Conner Flynn on May 19th, 2011

Photographers who also like to shoot guns will love this weapon. This weapon fires bullets and takes pictures at the same time. It was apparently used in 1938 in New York. The gun is a Colt 38 and it had a tiny camera attached to it that was controlled by the trigger.

We don’t have much more information than that, but it’s impressive. One thing is for sure, you don’t want to be in these pictures. Good thing nobody else got their hands on it. I can easily imagine some whack job firing away at people and posting the pics online. Yeah, this is not a good combination here.

HTC Droid Incredible takes a bullet

Posted in News by Conner Flynn on January 10th, 2011

John Garber, an employee at Club Halo in Atlanta, was shot outside his club, but don’t worry this story has a happy ending. Thanks to a bit of luck and his HTC Incredible, he is alive. The HTC Incredible was in his breast pocket and saved his life.

He will no doubt be an HTC fan for life. Though while his HTC took a bullet for him, some would say that the trade off might be radiation instead, since he had it in his breast pocket, but regardless he is glad he had it there.

Hublot Liberty Bullet Pocket Watch

Posted in Watches by Conner Flynn on March 20th, 2010

Your pocket watch isn’t nearly as manly as the Hublot bullet pocket watch. It’s soon to be number one with a bullet on the pocket watch charts. It’s called “Liberty” and houses a Tourbillon. You can even wear it as a bracelet or pendant.

There is a titanium bullet head and a black aluminum base. Hublot isn’t condoning war as far as we know. Just trying to appeal to those who want a more manly form for their pocket watch. You can own one and still give peace a chance.

Cell Phone takes a bullet, saves New Orleans manMan with two first names and New Orleans resident, Ronald Richard was minding his own business, mowing the lawn when he felt a hard object hit him in the chest. In the exact spot where he had his Motorola RAZR. Richard later took off his sweater and discovered the .45-caliber slug. His phone had taken a bullet for him.

According to paramedics, the angle of the bullet and the cellphone made all the difference. Otherwise he would be dead or seriously injured. The interesting part is that Richard normally clips his cell phone to the hip pocket of his overalls. On that day he hooked it to the chest area of the overalls just over his heart. So, does he owe his life more to his overalls or his phone?

AK-47 bullet ice cubes penetrate drinks

AK-47 bullet ice cubes penetrate drinksNow, if you can create a gun that will shoot these AK-47 bullet ice cubes into drinks, you’ll be the talk of the town for your killer drinks. On the other hand, if you’re the violent sort, you may well create a gun that will shoot these into a person, since they will melt and leave no evidence. I guess that’s my dark side working overtime.

The AK Ice Tray resembles an AK-47 magazine. Just place the other half on top and it will create perfect ice bullets that look amazingly realistic. And if you’re a spy-type, why not impress an enemy agent with these. When they choke on the unusual shape, your job is done. Again, no evidence.
