Brando has been busy building a more secure mouse. The Wireless Encryption Mouse makes it easy to secure sensitive data on your laptop. That’s because it features a “Folder Encryption” function, where folders can be encrypted on your PC, so that they can only be accessed when the mouse and wireless receiver is plugged in. That should keep your naughty pictures safe.

The Wireless Encryption Mouse is available in green, red, yellow and silver and works on the 2.4GHz wireless frequency with 1600dpi resolution. The Wireless Encryption Mouse will cost you $22.

Brando loves to release docking stations for your SATA HDDs every couple of months. This latest unit adds H.264 decoding to the already present DivX, Xvid and MPEG-4 and outputs to full 1080p. It features HDMI and a bunch of supported media formats. It gives you a lot of options.

This new device accepts 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives as well as USB flash memory, SD, MMC, and MS cards. There’s much to like. Until you get to the price, which is $199. There are nicer looking alternatives available for about half that.

Looks like Brando has seen the Sony Vaio P ads and had a light bulb go off over their heads. But unlike the Sony Vaio P, this tiny wireless keyboard actually fits in your back pocket. It measures just 430mm x 145mm x 28mm, and weighs 326g.

With this mini keyboard you’ll get 56 keys and 26 hot keys and even a built in trackball and scroll wheel. Why ever be without a keyboard again? Brando is known for its whacky USB gadgets, so it isn’t much of a surprise to see them offering this combination SATA HDD dock / stereo speaker / USB hub. While it won’t tell you the temperature at your desk, it’s sure to come in handy.

Some features include compatibility with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard disks, two USB 2.0 ports, USB audio, three watt stereo speakers, and volume control. If you are a fan of Brando’s gadget combo creativity, it will only cost you $59.

The latest combination gadget from Brando is the Rota-Rota USB hub that combines three swiveling USB ports, readers for most flash memory formats and…two thermometers? It does have a nice vintage car style thing happening.

Sure, you may have some extra USb ports already. Maybe even a card reader, but I bet you don’t have a thermometer on your desk. C’mon, it must be important to know how hot or cold it is on your desk, to some of you right? For $15 you can have your answer.

Brando’s ingenious 7-in-1 USB Charging Cable is like a gadget charging orgy. It provides power for your PSP, DS, DS Lite, DSi and Game Boy Advance handhelds, and all it costs is a USB port and $7. Sure, this cable is a Brando product, and could possibly fry all of your well loved game handhelds, due to it’s questionable craftsmanship, but what is life without some risk.

At $7, what the hell. If it explodes, you’ll have some new parts for a future DIY project. I’ll put it to you, valued readers of the ‘Brick, would you trust Brando’s latest charging gadget with your handhelds?

Brando’s new USB Wireless Keypad is great if you’re looking for a wireless keypad for some serious number crunching. You’ll get the standard keypad keys, 13 hotkeys, and a neat uilt-in trackball. Sure, it’s no Optimus Aux, but it might come in handy if say, you plan on doing some serious calculations at Starbucks or on the bus. It’s yours for $37.

Looking for a cheap USB thrill for your desk that will provide hours of fun and distract you from your work? You might want to check out this USB Ferris Wheel that’s powered by your typing. I don’t know about hours of fun. That kinda depends on your IQ level.

Surely it will provide minutes of fun, with it’s flashing lights, carnival music, spinning wheel and plastic bunny, bear and elephant careening down the slide. The iPhone power station from Brando elongates your iPhone much like the iPhoneneck, while at the same time giving you some emergency juice should your battery get low. The LED blink lights look pretty neat, with an arrow pointing to your phone, just in case you can’t figure out where it goes for some reason.

No info on how much of a charge it gives your iPhone, but I’m guessing not much since they mention “1000mAh”. It will cost you $25.

By now, you’ve probably seen the robot chicken from Sega Toys. The fuzzy chick has been hard to actually find and order. But now you can get the Robotic Chicken from Brando for $26.90 and thus all your chicken dreams will come true. It’s a lifelike baby chicken that cries and flaps its little wings like the real deal. When held, it will flap its wings, pet it on the head and the chick will chirp.

Each Chick is packaged in a transparent egg where it sits on a little nest. You get the idea. It’s all about you and a (fake) baby chick connecting and sharing a bond that’s probably really unhealthy, but hey you got nothing better to do, so why not.

At first glance, this little mouse thing is pretty cute with it’s blue glowing eyes, but then you start to wonder if those eyes would pulsate just as your power goes out. Next you are mesmerized and before you know it, you are doing it’s bidding. Hypnotized, you keep buying more, building it’s army. One day soon, when it damn well decides it is ready, the electronic army will launch it’s next offensive from your house. When the last little demon rolls out the door, you will no longer be hypnotized, but you will know what you have done. Drop to your knees, gadget collector. For you have doomed the world. It is appropriate to cry.

Meanwhile in another reality…This tiny mouse from Brando is not a computer mouse. It connects to your iPod, CD, PDA, computer, or other gadget using a 3.5mm stereo audio jack. It’s basically a creepy little speaker.

Sure you can get a regular little rectangle 4-port USB hub just a handful of dollars, but what fun is that? This USB Runner Hub also has 4 ports, costs $12 and looks a whole lot cooler. The ports are cleverly placed in the end of one leg, arm, front of the base and in the brief case that swivels 180 degrees. This running man USB hub stands a little over 100mm tall and supports USB 2.0 and 1.1. It does look pretty neat but unless there is some heavy weight in the base (71g total weight) or some kind of suction cup I think it’s going to be tough to keep this guy on his feet when he’s plugged in and hard at work.

Now that fall has finally arrived and the days are growing shorter darkness falls earlier each day. If you want to bring a little light into your work environment and pick up your spirits on gloomy days consider investing $27 and pick up a Flexible Illuminated Full Sized Keyboard from Hong Kong-based Brando.

The silicon material that the keyboard is made from is flexible enough that you can roll it up or twist and turn it. Dimensions are 49×13 mm and it only weighs 335 grams so packing it around shouldn’t be too much of a burden. The illumination can be seen in a lighted environment but of course it looks better in a low light or dark room.
