Audio Technica ATH-BT03 Bluetooth headphones

JayBird SP2 Sportsband headphones debut

JayBird has been making wireless Bluetooth headphones for a while now. The company has announced its latest set called the SB2 Sportsband headphones. They promise CD quality audio with Bluetooth streaming for active types not wanting wires.

The headphones are offered in nine different colors with some specifically for the ladies. Audio is tuned for deep bass and for good all around sound according to JayBird. The new headphones promise better call and audio quality than previous generations from the company.

Gioteck EX-01 Bluetooth headset comes to the US

We have seen several new headsets for gamers get unveiled at E3 so far this year. One of the new headsets is the Gioteck EX-01 Bluetooth headset for the PS3. The wireless headset looks like a headset for a smartphone.

The device is designed for gamers and wirelessly connects to the PS3. It has a cushioned on-ear external speaker and ergonomic controls. The controls include volume and power buttons on the outside of the earpiece.

Ti-Vo slide QWERTY Bluetooth remote hits the FCC

A remote with a slide out QWERTY keyboard? This remote recently hit the FCC’s test bench. The Ti-Vo slide Bluetooth remote certainly looks odd, but very useful. But it’s only operational over Bluetooth.

It will be interesting to see how this fares once it hits the market. With no shipping date or price tag, we have no idea if this will be flying off shelves and into your waiting hands or sitting on shelves feeling all QWERTY with no where to go.

Sound ID 510 Bluetooth headset gets its own iPhone app

There really is an app for everything on the App Store for the iPhone. A new Bluetooth headset from Sound ID called the Sound ID 510 has debuted that claims to be the first to use an iPhone app.

The headset looks like your typical Bluetooth device. It has a touch sensitive control for volume rather than buttons you need to press. Battery life is claimed to be up to five hours of talk time and the device ships with the RealComfort ear loops.

Citizen releases new Bluetooth-enabled watches

Citizen Japan has introduced the I:Virt M series TM84-0351V and TM84-0352V Bluetooth-enabled watches in the Japanese market. With these watches, you can read e-mails up to 210 characters directly on the watch, as well as control your cell phone’s volume, accept or reject calls, display your cell phone’s battery level and be notified of incoming calls.

Both watches are capable of magnifying the text up to 14pt from its original size. The Citizen TM84-0351V sports a leather band, while the Citizen TM84-0352V sports a stainless steel band.

Motorola H17txt Bluetooth headset with MotoSpeak

Motorola’s new H17txt model can be paired with the company’s new MotoSpeak text-to-speech application to read text messages out loud as they come in. The software is available for Android and BlackBerry at first, and will supposedly translate 150 different commonly used acronyms.

That means that when it reads l8r it will say later. The headset is pretty standard, with CrystalTalk noise-canceling technology, five hours of talk time and seven hours of standby, and Bluetooth 2.1 compatibility.

Bluetooth T-Shirt tells you how many emails await you online

This might shock you, but when you aren’t at your computer stuff is still going on. Like email. You are still getting them and they are piling up. This shirt will show you how many emails you have waiting for you, but it’s mostly just to display to others how important you are.

They say that the shirt is comfortable, but I don’t know. It requires a single AAA battery. It was created by attaching an Arduino Lilypad controller into a simple T-Shirt with LED indicators showcasing a variety of options.

Novero makes Bluetooth headsets for mobile phones that are attractive to look at and work well. The company has announced three new products this week with the typical odd names Novero prefers. The new gear includes TheTalkyOne, TheTravelOne, and TheCarOne.

TheTalkyOne is the most interesting of the items and is a Bluetooth speakerphone designed for use in the car and the home. It can speak text messages out to the user and can pair with two phones at once. The device has 180 hours of standby time and 15 hours of talk time per charge.

MWC is always a hotbed of new products ranging from hardware and components to handsets and accessories for mobile phones. This year a bunch of accessories have been seen including the latest Bluetooth headset from Novero that is aimed at men.

The headset is called the Lexington and has an understated black with brushed steel design. The device has a stainless steel clip to connect it to a shirt pocket when not in use. Novero ships the Lexington with a charging carry case.

Cardo unveils scala rider G4 Bluetooth intercom

Motorcycle riders who ride with a passenger often need to talk to the other person to pass the time or to take a break. Without an intercom, the only way to do this is by yelling really loud or tapping the other person on the shoulder.

Cardo Systems has unveiled a new Bluetooth intercom system for motorcycle riders called the scala rider G4. The device allows up to four people to use the intercom in full duplex mode. The intercom has a wireless range of up to a mile.
