Nintendo unveils pink and blue Wiimotes for JapanWe’ve been waiting for various color Wiis and Wiimotes for awhile now and even though Nintendo gave us a black Wii and blue Wiimote in select locations, the company hasn’t offered any other colors.

Hopefully, that will all change soon. Over in Japan, at a small retailer event, the company revealed that a blue and pink Wiimote will hit Japan on December 3rd. Pricing is unknown. It’s also unknown if they will offer any other colors besides the blue and pink.

Red and blue DualShock 3 controllers arrive in OctoberThese “Deep Red” and “Metallic Blue,” controllers are the mot patriotic dualshocks we’ve ever seen. Combine them with a white dualshock and you can call yourself an all American gamer. Sony says they should be available this October.

October is a little late for fireworks, parades and barbecues, but at least you’ll be rocking true American colors year round as you game with these babies.

Black Wii, blue controllers spotted at World Hobby FairAt this weekend’s World Hobby Fair, Nintendo had the blue Wiimote and Nunchuk on display, to promote Wii Sports Resort. They also were showing off that Black Wii we told you about earlier this month.

The Nunchuk has always been shiny on top and matte on bottom, but it’s much more noticeable, in a good way, on the black version. Even the fugly Wiimote jacket looks cool in matte black. The Classic Controller Pro looks downright awesome in shiny black plastic. This Wii items make the console look much more serious.

Blue 8GB Zune spotted, new featuresHere’s the first pic of a blue Zune flash player. This one is an 8GB version that was seen posted on Fry’s a little while ago. Despite the color, it doesn’t have a lot to be blue about. Apparently there’s a silver one as well, but no pics of that one. It sports some interesting new features.

Users can access wireless hotspots to update music collections, browse the Zune Marketplace, refresh Channels, exchange favorites, and even buy tagged FM songs. “Channels” are custom stations that will give you personalized playlists. It also has a “Games” feature for what else, games. The “Buy From FM” feature lets you listen to FM radio and tag any songs for purchase when you sync with a PC. Not too shabby.

Nintendo DS Lite now in Cobalt Blue colorAs if Nintendo hasn’t sold enough DS’s in quite enough colors it looks like another one is on the way, this time sporting Cobalt Blue/Black. We thought the bundled colors were pretty nice and that Pikachu model was pretty neat but we are definitely impressed with this new Blue color. Circuit City has this new color up on their site priced at the usual $130 but not available for order quite yet. You can ask them to let you know when it’s ready however, and help Nintendo pull just a little bit further ahead.
