LEGO sculpture Nathan Sawaya is at it again with his newest creation, a five-foot tall LEGO model of the Blackberry Tour 9360. He could have cheaped-out on the display, but he didn’t. He integrated a large flatscreen TV into the model to simulate the screen of an actual Blackberry.

And that’s what gives this creation so much authenticity and personality. Still lacks Wi-Fi. As usual, Nathan proves that he has the right stuff as a LEGO master.

The Blackberry Tour is the latest smartphone form RIM and so far has hit Alltel and Verizon Wireless. The device is a world phone and business types who travel internationally frequently will appreciate the fact that it works on 3G networks at home and abroad.

Sprint has announced that it is now getting the Tour as well. The device will run on the Sprint 3G network and works on international 3G networks. The device has all the features that the Tour models on other networks offer.

RIM makes some of the hottest smartphones out there with its line of Blackberry devices. The Blackberry is popular with business users and consumers alike and is one of the best selling smartphone lines in the world.

Alltel has announced that the Blackberry Tour is now available on its network and can be picked up in all retail stores and online. At the time of this writing, the device isn’t on their website. The handset supports the Alltel 3G network and works on 3G networks around the world.

As usual ColorWare couldn’t wait to get in on the BlackBerry Tour action. It hasn’t even been out for a month and ColorWare already has their paint brushes ready to give it all kinds of crazy colors.

You know the drill. ColorWare will take yours and give it a facelift for $129 or you can get a new custom one made for $750. They provide several choices to choose from, letting you pimp your Tour and accent different parts.

Otter Box has announced a new line of cases for the recently launched Blackberry Tour including the Defender and the Impact. Those needing the ultimate protection will want to get the Defender. The case sells for $49.95 and is designed to protect the Tour from drops, bumps, dust, and shocks. All of the ports are accessible along with all functions of the phone when it’s in the case.

No exclusivity here. Sprint is keeping pace with Verizon in getting the BlackBerry Tour to the masses. They’ll launch RIM’s latest device on July 12 for $199.99 on contract after rebates. Not July 20th as we previously thought.

Mark your calendars, alert the wife that $200 will be missing from the checkbook and wait patiently my friends. It will soon be in your hot little hands. The date approaches.

Looks like Verizon has just replaced its BlackBerry Tour teaser with a pre-order page and we now have an official date. It’s arriving July 12th for $200. Now we’re waiting to see if Sprint’s July 20th date comes to pass, but if you want a Tour before anyone else, looks like Verizon is the way to go.
