Moshi Moonrock Black Earbuds

Posted in Earbuds by Conner Flynn on April 18th, 2011

The Moshi Moonrock Black earbuds won’t amplify sound using the power of moon rocks, but Moshi Audio’s acoustically tuned driver units will deliver crisp highs and balanced mids and bass. The in-ear design along with the proprietary hybrid-injection eartips, block out external ambient noise and offer comfortable listening. Those are the features you want.

These earphones also have high efficiency drivers (105 dB/mW) and an iPhone compatible microphone so you can answer calls on the fly while listening to your music. The Moonrock Black earbuds come with a stylish pocket-size carrying case with cable management that also looks like a cute happy face.

Intel ad teases black MacBook

Posted in MacBook by Conner Flynn on February 17th, 2011

Could Apple be ready to add MacBook Pro notebooks in a black color? We don’t have any official word on this happening, but Intel’s latest advertisement promoting the 2nd generation of Intel Core processors shows a black notebook that looks like Apple’s MacBook in black.

Apple has offered earlier versions of its MacBook in black, so it’s certainly possible. But who knows. This is just an ad and Intel can take some liberties if they like. It sure makes you wonder though.

Posted in HTC by Conner Flynn on October 4th, 2010

We are used to seeing mobile phones available in various colors, but it isn’t often that we see an aluminum-bodied phone offered in a different color. The HTC Legend, which has been available in aluminum silver will soon be available in phantom black across Europe.

It will still be made from aluminum materials. A white model will also be joining it sometime this month. So now you have some color choices and get to keep the aluminum body.

White iPhones are harder to make than black

Posted in iPhone by Conner Flynn on June 24th, 2010

If you are waiting for a white iPhone 4, you may have quite a wait. Apple had announced the iPhone 4 in your choice of black or white. Then suddenly there was no availability of the white model. Now, Apple says you have to wait until late July.

So what gives? Apple says: “White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.”

HP responds to ‘racist webcam’ claim

Posted in HP by Conner Flynn on December 22nd, 2009

Remember that video of Desi and Wanda from the other day? The video made it look like the HP MediaSmart PC with facial recognition doesn’t work with black people. Well, HP has responded. They blame bad lighting for the PC not being able to follow Desi’s face.

The technology we use is built on standard algorithms that measure the difference in intensity of contrast between the eyes and the upper cheek and nose. We believe that the camera might have difficulty “seeing” contrast in conditions where there is insufficient foreground lighting.

Red and Black XBox 360 controller for your XBox 360 EliteThis black and red X-Box 360 Controller reminds us of Thrustmaster’s Ferrari controllers, without all of the logos. If your X-Box 360 could use a little flair, why not get this bold controller.

It’s an official release from Microsoft and will be available on October 15th. This would go well with the all black X-Box Elite or even the Resident Evil console. The X-Box 360 Controller & Charger retails for $69.99 at GameStop. Looks kinda spider-like.

The black Wii has a black box

Posted in Wii by Conner Flynn on July 14th, 2009

Black Wii has a black boxThe elusive black Wii has shown itself off a few times recently and with the August 1st launch date in Japan approaching, its back in the spotlight. Now it’s showing off it’s sexy packaging.

Sure, it’s the same old box, just done up in black, but it makes the console all the more alluring, with a hint of mystery and danger. Like that time good girl Sandy from Grease suddenly transforms and rocks John Travolta’s world all dressed in black like a bad girl. Sadly we still have no word on a release date here, but we hope it happens soon.
