Laptop Mag gets hands on with new BenQ U101 netbook

BenQ JoyBook U101Say the word netbook and visions of BenQ don’t jump to my mind; I think more of external DVD burners. That didn’t stop BenQ from being the next firm to jump into the netbook market and its first offering is called the JoyBook U101.

Laptop Mag got their geeky hands onto the 10-inch netbook and found that it had the same poorly placed right shift key that the Asus Eee. At least BenQ went for colors and patterns rather than the same old black, white, or silver colors everyone else makes.

BenQ V2400WBenQ is offering up today what it deems the world’s slimmest 24-inch LCD monitor. We aren’t sure if that is 100 percent true or not, but we can tell you the BenQ V2400W will be available in North America in April.

The BenQ V2400W, as the world’s reportedly slimmest 24-inch LCD monitor, is 2.44-inches at its thickest point. It combines “unexpected asymmetry and the aerodynamic curves of the B-2 stealth bomber,” taking its design cues from a new BenQ design mindset. A blue LED and touch controls round out this design focused display.
