BenQ unveils K60 nReader |
BenQ is hitting the e-Book market with the nReader K60. The device has a 6-inch touchscreen e-paper display that uses SiPix Microcup technology to produce a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with 167 dots-per-inch and 16 grey scale.
The nReader K60 features 2GB of storage, which will hold roughly 4000 books and if you ned more it’s got a microSD card slot for more storage. Some other features include WiFi, a mini USB port, USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The K60 supports a variety of file formats including ePub, PDF, TXT, HTML, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and MP3.

BenQ has just unveiled two new CULV notebooks. The 13.3-inch Joybook S35 and the 14-inch Joybook S43. Both feature the Consumer Ultra Low Voltage or CULV processor and you have options of several processors for both, like a 1.4GHz single core, Core 2 Solo, a 1.2GHz Celeron 723, a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 or a 1.3GHz Celeron 743.
BenQ has unveiled the upcoming 27-inch LCD monitor dubbed the M2700HDS in Japan. This latest widescreen monitor from the company boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and four 2.5W built-in speakers.
BenQ has announced their upcoming 23.6-inch LCD TV that doubles as a standard PC monitor. This one would make a great secondary monitor. It features Senseye Human Vision Technology which enhances the color, clarity and contrast of video content. The MK2442 has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a 5ms response time, brightness of 300 cd/2, 1000:1 contrast ratio and a built-in TV tuner.
Say the word netbook and visions of BenQ don’t jump to my mind; I think more of external DVD burners. That didn’t stop BenQ from being the next firm to jump into the netbook market and its first offering is called the JoyBook U101.

BenQ is offering up today what it deems the world’s slimmest 24-inch LCD monitor. We aren’t sure if that is 100 percent true or not, but we can tell you the BenQ V2400W will be available in North America in April.
