Charatter bear reads your tweets

Posted in twitter by Conner Flynn on January 28th, 2011

Twitter fans will love this cute desktop peripheral that is capable of reading all your incoming tweets. It’s called the Charatter. He synchronizes to your Twitter account and reads all your incoming tweets out loud. The device comes from a company named WiZ who claims that sales of this critter have been explosive.

It works with a simple application installed on your PC or iPhone, where all of the tweets are translated into sound and sent to the Charatter bear who speaks the words verbally. The Charatter will cost you $28.

Bear Sleeping Bag

Posted in Outdoors by Conner Flynn on August 29th, 2010

There are sleeping bags and then there are sleeping bags. When in the wilderness, you might as well try to blend in. And this bear sleeping bag will definitely help you blend in. It looks just like a bear. It was designed by Eiko Ishizawa from Amsterdam.

The bear sleeping bag will keep you warm, scare your friends, and make sure that real bears try to have their way with you, when hunters are not trying to shoot you.

Reading through your Twitter feed is easy enough. You really shouldn’t need any help unless you follow 5000 people. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make it more fun.

This colorful little teddy bear is Yaratta and when you use an iPhone app it accesses your Twitter account and reads out the Tweets for you. All while looking cute. Twitter fans can even hook him up in their car where he will tweet for you.

The PMS Teddy Swear Bear

PMS Teddy Swear BearNow ladies, I’m not saying that some of you can be hard to live with during that special time of the month when Aunt Flow comes to visit. I’m not saying you can get a little cranky and yell and curse at a man until he’s just a hollow shell of himself. I wouldn’t do that. Why, I didn’t even comment when that Wiimote sailed past my head and stuck into the drywall like a dagger in Mario-land. No, I’m not saying anything.

It’s the makers of the PMS Teddy Swear Bear that are saying it. It’s cute and pink and looks cuddly. Like you. That’s where the similarities end. Really. The bear has mood swings and says things like “I Will F$%$%!king destroy you”. So this bear obviously isn’t for kids. It will arrive in stores this November for $29.99. I’m not saying you can identify with her boiling red-hot rage. Now how did my clothes end up all over the front lawn?

Un-bear-ably cute notebook speakers

Bear Dolls Laptop SpeakersWhen I buy speakers or other gadgets for my computer, I like them to look like speakers. Some people out there obviously feel differently and like to buy stuff that doesn’t look like it is supposed to look. I guess the fad all started with the nanny cams years ago that looked like stuffed animals.

If you need a set of speakers for your notebook, desktop or MP3 player that look like cuddly stuffed bears, you are in luck. This set of speakers has one brown bear and a white bear that each houses a speaker with 2W of power each.
