Geek makes street legal BSG Viper car |
I was really into the original Battlestar Galactica back in the day when it was on TV. I had the toys and never missed an episode of the show. I was mad when it got cancelled. When Sci-Fi bought the show back to TV, I was excited and mad again when it was cancelled the second time.
A BSG loving mechanic at an amusement park has created his own street legal Viper from the original BSG series that he can drive around. I bet he gets all the geek boo-tay he can handle in this thing.




Halloween is almost here and while we all have a healthy fear of witches,ghosts,monsters and zombies, it’s robots that we should really be afraid of. Robots are capable of killing every creature on that list and then turning on us.
Ah memories. Remember the Battlestar and Star Trek replica rockets from Estes? That was about 20 years ago. Estes discontinued them a long time ago, but you can still build one today.

Bluetribe is a new pair of Bluetooth 2.1 headphones with a distinctly unique look from Sigma-Apo of Japan. It will sell with ear pads designed to fit most ears. Fans of Battlestar Galactica will like these right away, as the hexagon shape looks straight from the show. We’re not sure whether these will appeal to non BSG geeks or not, but they are different and retro.
This Battlestar Galactica case mod is a pretty impressive bit of geek creativity. Look at the detail. It sports a landing bay, running lights, engine pods and a nice paint job. Some of it’s features include three 2.5-inch LCD screens, a 10-inch LCD on the left side panel and an automatic right side panel door/airlock.
