We’ve seen the Arc Mouse and until now it’s been one of a kind. Check out this design by Shaun haugh. This computer mouse is based on the Arc’s design, but manages to be different at the same time, in the final shape as well as finish.

This clamshell mouse has a steep arc which would make gripping it either harder or easier, I’m not sure which. The mouse is made of a silica gel like soft material and has metal supports for positioning, works on AA batteries with two steel buttons that lock and unlock the support rods.

At first glance, this looks like a bunch of broken oriental pottery. It’s actually a picture of three Microsoft Arc Mice all dressed up like oriental pottery. So you see, the Arc mouse really is a beautiful mouse. No other mouses looks so stunning amid ginger roots and fine china.

This is a special edition of the Arc Mouse that Hong Kong design store Goods of Desire turned it into a work of art. Very nice. We’d like to see more mice make dramatic statements like these.

Gizmodo found some hand’s on pics of Microsoft’s new wireless Arc mouse, which we told you about some time ago. The verdict? Looks just as drool-worthy as it did back then. The $60 mouse is portable and folds in half, thanks to a “strong metal hinge,”. Apparently the USB dongle slips into the underbelly of the mouse when not in use with a simple magnet. You also get a storage bag. According to the package you’ll get a 30-foot range. Looks sweet. What do you think? Are you good with your old mouse, or will you be rocking the Arc?

We’ve seen our share of strange mice. Some are cool, some are pretty lame. Microsoft’s arc mouse actually looks pretty slick and it folds up, making it stylish, wireless and collapsible. It’s pretty rare to see a mouse that stands out like this one. For $59.95 it comes in both red and black and will be available this holiday season.
