Stickers spice up your boring microwaveMicrowaves are boring. They all look alike. They’re just plain, boring boxes that magically heat your food. There is no iPhone of microwaves. But if you want to spice up that bland food box, help has now arrived in the form of Microwave Stickers.

They come in a variety of patterns and make it seem like you have a cool new appliance. When you get sick of it, just put a fresh sticker on top of the old one. I for one want nothing more in life than to have some fish swimming on my microwave.

The Steam Iron gets an LED faceliftThe iron is one of the few gadgets that has remained largely the same over time. Even this Steam Iron with LED concept doesn’t change it all that much. It features LED lighting that lets you know the temperature, with red presumably meaning that it’s hot and ready.

There’s also a soft silicone lining to prevent you from burning yourself accidentally, which is of course a big plus for you and the emergency room staff. Sure, it won’t iron your clothes all by itself while you play Xbox, but it’s an improvement. I mean, what else are you going to do to upgrade the old iron?

LG Microwave Toaster looks weird, saves space
LG converges the Microwave and the Toaster. The device is not new, but it’s like a UFO sighting, you know they’re out there, but you’re still surprised to see one.

Obviously it hasn’t caught on, which is odd because it’s a great space saver and it frees up an additional power outlet in your kitchen. Maybe it’s tough to clean or something. Anybody out there have one of these? Do you like it?

Home appliance alarm clocks
Sure, you can give your Mom this Home Appliance alarm clock for Mother’s Day…If you want to get smacked into next Wednesday. Listen son, your mom works hard every day. She’s got to clean up after your sorry butt, not to mention the rest of the family. Do you really think she wants to see yet another appliance that will remind her of all the work she still has to do?

Then again, if you really don’t care and she’s hard to shop for, go ahead and take the chance. The clock comes in a fridge, stove, iron, blender and washing machine. They’re priced at around $20 each. The washing machine shakes and shows a sudsy animation when it’s time to wake up. Oh, she’ll love that.
