Apple iPhone cupcakes are 3G-licious |
What can you say about an iPhone that is an amazing feat in creativity and in all likelihood magically delicious at the same time? It’s obviously a set of 12 cupcakes decorated to look like the iPhone. All I can say is that if this amazing treat was sitting in front of me, the decision to eat it or just admire it would fry my geek brain. They are the product of a Cupcake Decorating Championship at Ignite NYC, and they rightly took the first place prize last night. No word on whether creators Danielle and Nick Bilton are going to eat them now or not.

Sony has created a somewhat original looking and refreshing third-generation iPod/iPhone clock radio dock, the ICF-CD3iP, according to an apparent leak by a Sony Insider. The dock has a unique circular design that holds a clock, AM/FM radio and a CD player, with simple controls in front for playback.
When Moti Barzilay had to design something iconic in the Apple universe of products, something he felt was missing, the iShow was the end result. It’s a portable projector designed for Apple’s line of iPods, iPhones, and MacBooks.
Apple has unveiled its new iPod Nano line,
Apple wants to enhance your audio experience with a good fit, with these Apple In-Ear Headphones. They feature two high-performance drivers, a woofer takes care of all of your bass needs and mid-range sounds, while the tweeter takes care of the high-frequency audio. These drivers translate into accurate and rich audio depending on the quality of your MP3 encoding. Apple priced the pair affordably at $79. Comes with three different sizes of ear tips to cater for all kinds of ears, a carrying case and a cable-control case.
Ask anybody and they’ll tell you Apple invented the iPod. Not entirely correct according to Apple themselves, who has credited a UK man as author of some of the original patents that outlined how today’s PMPs work. Kane Kramer had no idea about iPods back then, but he sketched out a rudimentary media player in 1979. Sadly, financial difficulties in 1988 meant he couldn’t renew the patent and so it entered the public domain. Apple then used the concept as evidence in their legal case against Burst.com, who were accusing the company of patent infringement and looking for a slice of iProfits.
Looks like real honest to God iPod Nano 4G hardware, but you’ll notice it has no Apple logo and it probably is equipped with non-Apple software inside. Call Anakin Skywalker and the rest of the Jedi council. Begun, the clone wars have. Those who don’t visit gadget sites are doomed to buy this thing. You’ll also notice that this clone is thin as an anorexic supermodel, which has us hoping that the Nano 4G will keep its slim form.
What can you say about a paddle that will inflict not only pain but brand others with Apple’s logo? We aren’t all
It’s far from the first time that Apple has filed patents for some kind of tablet computer. It’s been described in the past as a large iPhone, or as a full tablet, but these latest images look like a large mobile internet device that would be pretty neat. Most of the 52-page filing is in regards to the touchpad.
Sony is revamping its Xplod line of car stereo units that will work with iPods. The iPod-aware models are the GT630UI, GT430IP, GT330 and GT130, and each features a USB connection that transfers data and charges the iPod.

I have no idea if this is a concept or some geek’s elaborate prank in order to get girls or something. It could be a modified cassette player, but somehow I doubt it. You would need a few AA batteries at least. All I know is that had the actual iPod and Walkman merged in the 80’s, this would be the result. I suppose it would download music off of itunes, and store it on it’s cassette hard drive. When that casette is full, insert another and begin again. Very bizarre, but a cool pic.
