Averatec announces 25.5-inch all-in-one for $999Averatec just announced a gigantic all-in-one PC for $999. It’s a sweet deal. The D1200 series features a 25.5-inch LCD monitor with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5GHz CPU, 320GB hard drive, and 4GB of RAM. You also get a built-in ATSC/NTSC TV tuner for 1080p video and TV playback, 8X super-multi DVD burner, 2-megapixel webcam, 802.11N wireless, and gigabit Ethernet.

It also comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse, along with a Media Center remote and Vista Home Premium. It’s shipping now at Averatec’s website for $999 and it will be available at Best Buy and Tiger Direct very soon.

$450 Lenovo C300 All-in-One DesktopThe C300 AIO desktop has specs that suggest that it’s roughly an Atom-based netbook, while it looks like a sleek desktop. Which is it? At $450, it’s a 20 inch desktop for the budget-conscious. It strengths will be web-surfing, light productivity and stuff like Skype, but lack of default Wi-Fi really makes no sense.

It’s available with XP and Vista. Some specs include: 20-inch 16:9 aspect ratio, Intel Atom 230, 1-2 GB memory, 160-640 GB Hard Drive and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

Viewsonic unveils thin 35mm All-In-One PCViewSonic’s latest offering is a sweet looking super-thin all in one computer. One that is only 35mm thick. For comparison, that’s a little thinner than the iMac. Inside you’ll find an Atom 1.6Ghz CPU, a DVD RW drive, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard disk. The screen is a 19 incher.

It will ship with Windows XP Home and features WIFI and Ethernet of course. How about 4 USB 2.0 ports and a 4-in-1 card reader? Looks like a good one to help you save some space in your home.

LG All-in-one "Champagne" XCanvas home-theaterThe latest XCanvas home theater from LG looks pretty futuristic and is available in two different varieties. The HT964TZ (5.1ch) and HT564DG (2.1ch) come in the unique form of a glass of champagne with a red wine color.

Both models support only DVDs with LG’s state of the art upscaling technology. No price on these yet, but just look at them, they are sure to be an expensive non-Blu-ray option. Currently they are only available in Korea.

Lenovo and Acer prepping All-In-One PCsLenovo and Acer are putting both feet into the all-in-one PC market, not just dipping their toes in. Lenovo wants to release its 20″ C100 entry level unit next month followed by the C100 and Quad Core B500 in August as well as the slim A300 a few months after that.

Acer wants some of that sweet market too, so they will be releasing an 18.5″ model by Wistron. Whenever they arrive, look for them to be under $888. At least that’s what they’re shooting for.

You can order your choice of three versions of machine, with base prices at $699.99, $799.99 and $999.99. Shipping is in just a few weeks. To refresh your memory, the IdeaCentre A600 features a design that allows the display to appear thinner than it’s all-in-one competitors. The keyboard features a touchpad and it comes with Lenovo’s Motion Drive Remote that can also be used as a VOIP handset.

Shuttle X50 all-in-one with lunchbox handleI keep thinking that this thing should have some snazzy A-Team or Superman graphics on it. Anyhow, Shuttle has gone official with its new X50 all-in-one PC, which takes aim at ASUS’ Eee Top.

With this one you’ll get a 15.6-inch 1,366 x 768 touchscreen, with an Atom 330 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam and microphone, and a five USB 2.0 ports. Sadly it appears that you can’t order one just yet, but it should be available by the end of the month for around $500.

Averatec announces new all-in-one PC with HD video capability

averatecallinone-sbAveratec offers a full line of all-in-one computers that stuff all the goodies a modern PC needs inside the display like the iMac line. Averatec is mostly known as a maker of cheap laptops, but its all-in-one line is interesting and the latest addition offers the ability to stream HD video.

Averatec calls the new model the D1133 AIO and it features an 18.4-inch LCD with a resolution of 1680 x 945. Storage for the computer is to a 250GB HDD and it has 2GB of DDR2 RAM along with an 8x SuperMulti DVD burner.

Marantz CR502 all-in-one music systemMarantz, known for its luxury hi-fi output, has announced the CR502, an all-in-one music system. The CR502 consists of two stereo amplifiers, each with 2 x 25W, adding up to 100W of music output and comes complete with a CD drive and DAB tuner.

You’ll also get a variety of inputs and outputs that includes a USB 2.0 port. It’s all packed into a compact aluminum chassis. The CR502 will also give you a clock radio and alarm with sleep functions. This all-in-one will cost you about GBP 499.

Canon unveils new all-in-one printers for home office

Canon MX860There is a lot to like when it comes to all-in-one printers for the home or home office. Rather than having a printer, a fax, and a scanner you can get one device that costs you less and does all of the functions you need.

Canon has introduced a pair of new AIO printers called the Pixma MX860 and MX330. The two printers offer print, fax and scan capability. Both use the Super G3 fax system with the MX860 offering storage in memory for 250 faxes and the MX330 offers enough storage for 50 pages in memory.

Gateway ZX2300: An 18.5-inch all-in-one PC

Gateway ZX2300: An 18.5-inch all-in-one PCWe’ve been seeing all-in-one PCs more often lately. The latest is this 18.5-incher, the ZX2300 from Gateway, which should be available in Taiwan soon. The system is powered by an AMD Athlon 2650e CPU that runs on Windows XP Home, and supports 1GB RAM and a modest 160GB hard drive. LCD screen resolution is 1366 x 768.

The 18.5-inch display will give you a 16:9 aspect ratio. The ZX2300 also features Wi-Fi, webcam and a 16X LightScribe DVD burner. The PC will sell for about $530. No word on exactly when it will drop, but those in Taiwan will have a first crack at it.

iRiver’s WAVE-HOME all-in-one communications hubToday iRiver is showing off the WAVE-HOME, which is dubbed an “all-in-one solution”, the WAVE-HOME features a 7 inch screen, built-in speakers and comes with a handset that acts as a VOIP phone and a remote control. It also has a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam.

They basically want the device to handle all of your needs. Some features include: VOIP, web surfing, video chat, SMS/MMS, taking photos, displaying photos, videos, playing music files, FM radio, widgets (weather, news, traffic, etc.) iRiver sees the WAVE-HOME as a “do everything” multimedia and communications center. They want it front and center, with you using it for something.

It’s a thin all-in one PC with an interesting design that has most of the components in the bottom of the computer. It’s a design/diet secret that allows the display to appear thinner than it’s all-in-one competitors. Whether or not Lenovo’s claim that it is, is true.

The keyboard features a touchpad and just to top things off, it comes with Lenovo’s Motion Drive Remote that can also be used as a VOIP handset, an “air mouse”, game controller and a Media Center remote. Some other features: 21.5″ Display with 1920×1080 pixels and a 16:9 ratio, Digital TV Tuner (Media Center compatible, Motion Drive Remote with an accelerometer, Intel Core Duo, Up to 4GB DDR3, Up to 1TB of storage, 6x USB 2.0, 1x Firewire (1394), and Up to 2MP cam.
