Accell is back with us with news of some more HDMI-related products. This time around it is showcasing a line of switches and splitters supporting the HDMI 1.3 specification.

The Accell UltraAV HDMI line up, such as the Accell UltraAV 1×4 HDMI 1.3 Splitter pictured, is now compliant with HDMI 1.3 specification up to 6.75 Gbps. This line of products includes as well the 4×8 HDMI 1.3 Distribution Amplifier, 4×1 HDMI 1.3 Switch, 2×1 HDMI 1.3 Switch and 1×2 HDMI 1.3 Splitter.

Accell, a maker of A/V and computer cables, announced today a new HDMI cable which is 1.3 compliant. It is known as the UltraRun 1.3 and you’ll find it with a starting price of around $280, depending upon cable length.

The Accell UltraRun 1.3 cables are long length HDMI 1.3 compliant cables which range in distance from 33 feet up to 82 feet. These cables, primarily designed to be installed in-wall, boast a feature which allows the repeater module, should it become inoperable, to be replaced without having to remove the cable from inside the wall.
