LG readying Optimus Big with 4.3-inch Nova display

Some leaked images and specs of an upcoming LG handset have been leaked. The handset will feature the same Nova display as the current Optimus Black, but at a larger 4.3 inches. That’s why the phone is being called the LG Optimus Big.

It’s expected to launch at Korea’s U+ provider in April. Some of the leaked specs include a 1GHz single-core CPU and a T-DMB TV tuner, which allows watching over-the-air TV broadcasts. That last feature insures that the handset won’t be coming to other markets. At least not without some major changes.

JVC's NX-TC5 iPod dock with motion activated 4.3-inch LCD playsJVC’s latest addition to its NX-TV series is the 15 x 15 watt NX-TC5. The good news is that the device features an iPod dock and 4.3-inch LCD. The bad news is that video playback is limited to the built-in 1Seg digital TV tuner or WMV video stored on USB media. Which is strange. No iPod video for you.

It features a movable front-panel for getting the optimal viewing angle and a motion-activated display. Some other features are 512MB of on-board storage for photos, AM/FM tuner, and a CD player that will rip audio to MD or USB stick at 4x speeds.
