Veho Mimi all-in-one HTPC controller looks like a gamepad

Is your home theater still using the old mouse and keyboard combo? Well Veho has announced the “Mimi wifi Keyboard & Air Mouse with game controller.” It looks like an Xbox 360 gamepad controller, but this one has everything you want in an all-in-one computer-controller.

It features a motion sensor to control the mouse, separate buttons for left and right clicking and a range of about 33 feet. It’s compatible with both Windows and Mac via a USB dongle, but the customizable buttons will only work on a Microsoft OS machine. It will cost you about 150 dollars (or £90).

Today Microsoft pushed out its fall Xbox 360 Dashboard update, which brings many of the features shown at E3, focusing mostly on Kinect controller support for games, video chat, and gesture and voice commands in the UI itself.

There’s also live and on-demand ESPN3 sports events, Zune Pass music streaming and a more streamlined interface with extra attention to the Marketplaces and a new parental control center. Some other minor improvements bring better voice chat quality, a new virtual keyboard, easier Netflix searching and simplified Wi-Fi network joins.

No matter what game you are playing, this Tron controller makes it feel like you are playing Tron. PDP’s glowing TRON controllers will cost you $50 controllers and will be available this fall for PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

PC gamers will also get a TRON-blue gaming keyboard and mouse from Razer. If you are going to play the upcoming Tron Evolution game for PC, 360, and PS3, it is mandatory that you use these controllers. And even if you aren’t a fan, they just look hot.

Controller for Xbox 360 with QWERTY keyboardMicrosoft has revealed its plans to launch a QWERTY style handheld keyboard add-on for its Xbox 360 game controller. In a company press release Microsoft said that the keyboard will connect directly into the Xbox 360 controller to support text and instant messaging even though they released a photo of what appears to be a keyboard/game controller that’s one unit. Maybe there will be both the keyboard add-on and a keyboard controller? It seems that we’ll know in a month or two.
