The i’mWatch from Blue Sky Italy is the world’s first Android-powered watch. Because let’s face it, your watch needs apps too right? It is powered by a Freescale ARM9 IMX233 CPU with 64MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 1.54-inch TFT touchscreen display.

The 600mAh battery will deliver 2 hours of talk time or 48 hours of standby time. The i’mWatch can also be paired up with your iPhone, BlackBerry or Android phone. The i’mWatch Android-powered watch retails for €249 (or $360). Want one?

Fossil’s Meta Watch “wrist computer” comes in digital or analog versions and is based on the TI MSP430 micro-controller paired with Bluetooth for connecting to your phone, tablet or other device. It will also display information from mobile applications or Internet services.

The watch also features a 3 ATM water resistant stainless steel case, a leather strap, a mineral glass crystal, a vibrating motor, a three-axis accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. The analog version features two 16 x 80 white OLED displays, while the digital version has a 96 x 96 reflective display. The Meta Watch should arrive in July 2011 for $200.

How about a phone that conveniently sits on your wrist? Alexey Chugunnikov has designed the Rollerphone concept and hopes that one day it becomes a reality. It is a wearable cell phone that looks like a wristwatch.

The Rollerphone has a retractable transparent screen at the base, so when you get a call, just pull out the screen. It features a media center, so you can watch videos, chat online, play games, read e-books and more. It will also project the time. One day this will be practical, but for now it is just a concept.

If you are looking for a watch band to house your iPod nano 6G, you certainly have plenty of options, but this one is one of our favorites. And Hex has just started shipping its HEX Watch Band in the US. It will cost you $29.95 for this soft, flexible band.

Just insert your nano into the face, strap it on your wrist and you are good to go. It’s designed to be remarkably rugged and stand up to abuse, and the headphone socket is arranged so that the cable runs up your arm. It comes in nine colors to fit your own style.

It sucks laying out more money for iPhone accessories. When is enough enough? All of that money adds up. So how do you make a super cheap case and save some dough? Well, Oliver Nelson has used a rubber wristband to act as a bumper on his phone.

They are apparently an almost perfect fit when stretched around the 4′s antennae. A 1.125-inch long by 0.125-inch wide incision (into the unstretched band) is necessary to keep the 30-pin port and speakers open, but otherwise it’s pretty easy and dirt cheap too.

Look at the size of this watch phone. It’s so big I can see Cindy Crawford’s mole. They describe it as a “compact 47 x 55 frame” that is the world’s smallest super cell phone. I suppose if you want an actual phone on your wrist, you want it this size though just to be functional.

This gadget is proof that having some extra battery power will severely mess up your fashion sense. The USB Wrist Band Battery is compatible with a range of devices like your mobile phone or handheld games console. And while you are charging your device, others will think you are wearing some sort of medical splint on your wrist.

It features a built in rechargeable 1500mAh battery and will work with a number of connections like microUSB, Mini USB, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS, and mobile phones from manufacturers like Sony, Samsung and Nokia.

TokyoFlash, those makers of all kinds of wacky and fun watches, have done it again. Now they have created an E-ink display watch to accompany the current e-book craze. Looks pretty sweet. The E Clock can tell the time using normal numbers, or by using patterns of dashes and lines if you like to be mysterious.

It will connect via Bluetooth to your phone, alerting you to calls and texts through vibration or a blinking indicator. It might not look like it, but the band is made from flexible stainless steel. If enough people vote for it, they will make it and offer it up. What do you think?

Remember the iKey AK-39 military-grade wrist keyboard? It was a small keyboard made for a soldier to wear on his or her wrist in order to manipulate a rugged, portable computer.

Now iKey has a new keypad, and it’s an OEM product meant to integrate directly with wrist-worn computers. The 17-key keypad “functions just like a cellular phone does when texting”. It also sports an integrated pointing device, dedicated mouse-click button, and an Enter key.

Think of the HDBT-990 Wristband Communicator as a cellphone watch de-volved. It’s as if the industry has given up on the idea of a cellphone watch and focused instead on the communicator from Star Trek I. This is basically just a Bluetooth headset on your wrist.

One that costs $85 and lacks any style at all. If this is the future, then the future is ugly and awkward. Freeze me now and wake me up when I can call someone on my wrist in style.

Here’s a great accessory for bicyclists and motorcycle riders. It’s basically a wrist mount for your iPhone, so that you don’t have to stop every time you get a call or a message. Just receive your calls, check GPS updates on the route you’re taking and even listen to some tunes and control playback without having to pull over.

Plus it’s just plain cool to have an iPhone mounted to your wrist. Makes you feel important. The whole kit costs about $140 and will come in quite handy without your device being in hand.

The Bluetooth bracelet is designed to be worn on your wrist. When your pal calls your phone it vibrates to alert you of the incoming call. This is handy, say, if your phone is tucked away in a travel bag or if you have left it somewhere.

Orange UK has announced pricing for the LG GD910 touchscreen watch phone we told you about back in July. The handset for your wrist went on sale in France earlier this month. It will be priced at £500 ($826) and only available for a limited time, sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

The GD910 will be launched at Orange’s flagship London store at first, the Bond Street Station branch, at 9am on August 27th. After that, in September, a limited number of devices will be sold on the carrier’s website. So if you want one you better not mess around.

We’ve seen our share of wrist phones, most of them looking huge on your wrist. Now Samsung has one with a slimmer design. It’s model S9110 “the world’s thinnest.”

Thin is one thing, but this one is also small. That’s the magic formula for wrist phones. Trouble is you need excellent eyesight to see that 1.7-inch touchscreen. It sports Bluetooth, voice recognition, a speakerphone, and can even play music and check your e-mail.
