Versetta iPad cases

Posted in iPad accessories by Conner Flynn on July 18th, 2011

Versetta’s line of iPad cases are supposed to be handbags and cases that deliver form and fashion. According to them at least. The image above just looks like an older woman’s purse with an iPad screen in it. Oh well, you can’t always have a fashionable bag if you also want to tote your iPad.

The company has two separate lines for these pouches, one for professionals and one for ladies. Both versions allow you to access your iPad, ports and everything, without removing it from the case.

Romulan Ale Star Trek Energy Drink

Posted in Sci-Fi by Conner Flynn on March 27th, 2011

Energy drink? Wth? When I was a kid watching Star Trek, Romulan Ale was booze. They would break a bottle out everytime a red shirt died or when Kirk wanted to get some green-skinned chick drunk. Now it’s an energy drink.

That guy really seems to like it too. He’s looking at it like it’s a woman. Kinda scary actually. He must be feeling the effects: one part diarrhea and two parts caffeine jitters. I don’t want this guy at the helm anytime soon or beaming me down to a planet in a million pieces. Don’t drink on the job buddy.

Woman caught at Airport smuggling 44 iPhones in her clothes

Posted in News by Conner Flynn on January 24th, 2011

The iPhone is a hot commodity even after all this time. Apple is making a ton of money on it, smugglers too. When they can get away with smuggling the goods anyway. An Israeli women was caught at Ben-Gurion International Airport, while attempting to smuggle 44 iPhone 4 smartphones under her clothes. Apparently they were everywhere, including her stockings.

The woman, who is in her 60s, was returning from London when one of the airport’s full-body scanners detected the load of smartphones that she was hiding under a traditional Georgian outfit. Officials had also noticed that she appeared to be walking with difficulty, which is what made them notice her in the first place.

10 billionth iTunes app downloader hung up on Apple

Posted in iTunes by Conner Flynn on January 24th, 2011

Last week the App Store hit its 10 billionth download and Apple was to give the person who downloaded the 10 billionth app a $10,000 gift card. The lucky downloader of that 10 billionth app was Gail Davis of Orpington, Kent, UK. She is a very lucky woman.

But when an Apple rep called Davis and started telling her that she had won, she hung up thinking that it was a prank. “I thought it was a prank call. I said, ‘Thank you very much, I’m not interested’ and I hung up.” But her kids told her that it was for real and luckily the Apple rep called back again. That was a close one. Her kids would have never forgiven her.

Mimobot Batman Flash Drives

Posted in USB Flash Drives by Conner Flynn on January 11th, 2011

I’m a huge Batman fan, so I couldn’t believe it when I saw these. Mimobot Flash drives are finally embracing The Dark Knight himself, as well as some friends and enemies. The Batman line has versions of the old style Batman, new batman, Catwoman, Robin and the Joker.

Hopefully we will see more heroes soon, like the Green Lantern, Superman, and the Flash. These look awesome and should sell well for the company.

Sony getting into the urinal game business as well

Posted in Sony by Conner Flynn on January 11th, 2011

Since Sega is turning public urinals into gaming machines, Sony figures it might as well make a splash in the market as well. The company’s Toylet will calculate the velocity and volume of the urine and “translate” that data into in-game solutions, like Graffiti Eraser.

Some other great gaming moments in the early history of pee games are The North Wind and Her which will require your pee to lift a woman’s dress. This technology is currently being used in metro stations, and may soon enter other public places. Wash your hands.

‘Honey, it’s me!’ is another app for lonely guys

Posted in iPhone Accessories by Conner Flynn on December 15th, 2010

If you are lonely, the ”Honey, it’s me!” app will help ease your pain. It was developed for the iPhone by Nabix and is for lonely South Korean men looking for love or something creepy. They used a cute 22 year old Korean model, Mina, for this ‘video-call’ application that has her saying all kinds of things that real women won’t say to you, while talking into the camera.

She will wish you good night or tell you to eat breakfast among other things, helping single guys feel like they have a woman in their life. She’s basically a virtual girlfriend. The app is free and the developers even plan to launch English, Chinese and Japanese versions of the app.

Posted in Games by Conner Flynn on September 19th, 2010

Red Dead Redemption already had a whole bunch of monsters thanks to glitches that produced bird-people, a donkey woman and even cougar man. But now Rockstar is intentionally going to add more inhuman enemies in their next DLC.

This DLC is called Undead Nightmares, and will feature “an entirely new mostly single-player campaign that follows John Marston as he tries to find a cure for the highly infectious zombie plague that has spread across the frontier.”

Pink DualShock 3 coming September 21st

Posted in PS3 by Conner Flynn on September 10th, 2010

The PS3 dualshock controllers are pretty manly looking. They look tough and we know that they are capable enough. But now Sony is rolling out another version. It’s the same old controller, but in a pink shade for the lady of the house.

Pricing is the usual $54.99 for this wireless controller and GameStop should have them in within a couple of weeks. It’s strong enough for a man, but clearly made for a woman.

Devon Works Tread 1 bulletproof watch

Posted in Watches by Conner Flynn on April 20th, 2010

Man, this is one awesome looking watch. It has a ton of amazing detail. But looks aren’t all the Devon Works Tread 1 has going for it. It’s also the first bulletproof watch we’ve ever seen. Perfect if bad guys are aiming at your wrist. Though I suppose the impact would still shatter your wrist. It won’t protect you where it counts.

How much would you pay for a bullet-proof watch? Well, you’ll have to pay $15,000 if you want this one. I suppose you could do the Wonder Woman thing and deflect bullets with this thing, just know that it is still gonna hurt.
