Police will soon have more weapons on them, specifically on their sleeve thanks to designer David Brown. He has developed a new sleeve for police that fits on the user’s hand. It can be deployed instantly and packs a high-voltage tazer type stunner, a video camera, a laser pointer and a flashlight.

The device weighs less than three pounds and is meant to be worn as a glove. There are buttons on the palm to use the stunner, camera, laser and the flashlight. It’s just a concept right now, but hopefully soon it can help police.

Let’s say you want go all Bruce Lee on someone, but in a redneck sort of way. Well, for that occasion, look no further than these Budweiser Nun Chucks. They are the creation of Kai Tsien-Williams and Chen Chen. To make the beat down of some poor guy even worse, these Budweiser cans are actually filled with cement. Which is kind of appropriate since that’s where he will end up.

They are for sale right now, we just aren’t sure where. Maybe that’s a good thing. I don’t think we need many of these in the world. Although they seem easy enough to make.

Photographers who also like to shoot guns will love this weapon. This weapon fires bullets and takes pictures at the same time. It was apparently used in 1938 in New York. The gun is a Colt 38 and it had a tiny camera attached to it that was controlled by the trigger.

We don’t have much more information than that, but it’s impressive. One thing is for sure, you don’t want to be in these pictures. Good thing nobody else got their hands on it. I can easily imagine some whack job firing away at people and posting the pics online. Yeah, this is not a good combination here.

You’ve seen all of the ammo counters on the various shooters that you’ve played and now a similar ammo counter is available for automatic weapons, thanks to a DIY project by Michael Ciuffo. So now when out on the firing range, you can be aware of your ammo situation just like in the games.

An accelerometer detects the gun’s recoil and keeps count, so it can be calibrated for different weapons. Michael has received enough enquiries about this that he is going to start producing it for the mass market soon.

Germaphobes have a new weapon to wage war on germs. And it is only a $50 investment. The VIOlight UV light sanitizer will kill germs and bacteria on your phone, leaving it clean and germ free.

The A3-21 Plasma Rifle kicks ass in Fallout 3 and it looks pretty awesome in the real world too. Ryan Palser created this bad boy, which took five months to complete. His wife painted it up real nice to give it the weathered look. If they ever make a Fallout movie, they better turn to Ryan and wife for props.

We’d love to see more of Fallout’s weapons in real life, maybe even some Brotherhood of Steel armor. To paraphrase the song from the game, Ryan doesn’t want to set the world on fire, he just wants to start a flame in our hearts with this beast.

We’ve never seen a slingshot like this before. This slingshot looks like a typical primitive weapon, but that isn’t what it is all about. Hence the alphanumeric keypad. It will instead tag a building (or several) through the use of SMS.

This digital slingshot was designed by a media group in Berlin. Just type in a message, aim it at a building at fire. Your message will then splatter all over the building. Samsung is ready to release their first cellphone with a pico-projector built-in, the Galaxy Beam. We heard about this one awhile back and though it sounds like a weapon from an old Sci-Fi movie, don’t worry, your galaxies are safe. For now.

The pico-projector in this one is built by Texas Instruments and can display projections from 5 to 50 inches in size. The Android 2.1 phone also features a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED, 8 MP camera, FM, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and 16 GB storage.

There’s a reason you don’t see dust in the corridors of the starship Enterprise. Turns out those phasers actually double as Dustbusters. Okay, not really. But this Dustbuster is crafted as a replica of the hand phaser from Star Trek: the Next Generation.

Interestingly, these prop weapons were nicknamed Dustbusters on set because of their familiar shape. This replica is much more than a hand vacuum, though.
