Klipsch launches three new iPhone-compatible headphones |
Klipsch has introduced three new iPhone-compatible headphones in the Image One, Image S5i Rugged and Image S3. The Klipsch Image One is the company’s first on-ear headphones and features a three-button remote specially made for the iPhone, iPod or iPad.
The Klipsch Image S5i Rugged headphones come with a three button remote that can survive some moisture, but isn’t fully waterproof. Lastly, the Klipsch Image S3 headphones can be used with any device like an iPod or an MP3 player since it features a 3.5mm audio jack.






You typical iPod or other standard MP3 player isn’t up to the task of swimming or sports where shocks and bumps are apt to happen. You can wear a plain MP3 while you exercise, but if you get it wet the player is pretty much done.
When you design phones while on crack, there are bound to be some bad results. The iPod Water phone, despite it’s name, isn’t waterproof and it doesn’t even look like an iPhone. These knock-off companies are really slipping lately. I’m very disappointed. I thought the idea was to make your thing look like the other more desirable thing.
Well, not that deep. H2O Audio is known for their waterproof products, and here’s their latest way to bring tunes underwater. The iDive “Deep Dive” Waterproof Housing and Over Ear Speakers lets you enjoy your iPod and continue viewing/listening to your favorite media files up to depths of 300 feet below sea level. If you seek a way to enjoy your iPod nano at the beach without fear of it getting trashed by surfing and swimming, H20 Audio has a new case you’ll want to check out. It is called the H2O Audio iN3 and it’s being shown off at MacWorld this week.
This iPod speaker dock from Taiwan’s Nova has a transparent, waterproof covering that looks like a tube of some sort of lotion or gel, complete with a whole in the end where it would hang on display at the store. The idea is to provide a waterproof speaker system for your iPod that lets you bring it into the shower. It also looks like you might even be able to control the iPod through the case but in reality to us it looks like just a cheap way to try to make a waterproof dock.
Unless you are using a waterproof case taking your iPod into your spa is probably not a smart idea. Hot Spring Spas believes it has a solution for you though by unveiling its Moonlight Spa Music System.
