Epoq IN-VISIONEpoq – that CE company which sells cheap portable media players and MP4 watches online – started bragging recently about a new line of televisions which are supposedly waterproof. There’s no word on availability or pricing as of yet.

The Epoq line of IN-VISION televisions and displays are designed to be used around pools and in your bathroom. They are said to be capable of withstanding high humidity, splash and short term submersion in water. They are typical flat panel style screens which incorporate heated screen areas to prevent the front misting up in humid conditions. Sizes range from 5”, 8”, 9.2”, 10.4” and 15”, while widescreen models come in 17”, 19”, 20”, 26” and 32”.

Casio G-Shock Limited edition white watch for the US Open of SurfingCasio has released a limited edition version of their extreme sports-tough G-Shock watches for this years US Open of Surfing. The watch comes in a white resin case and band with the US Open of Surfing logo branded on the band.

The US Open of Surfing G-Shock watch will obviously Casio’s well-known shock resistance along with water resistance up to 200 meters, afterglow backlight, countdown timer, stopwatch, alarm, a preprogrammed calendar and it just looks cool.

Symbian and Sling MediaSling Media Inc. and Symbian Limited recently announced that the two companies are partnering to bring customers the SlingPlayer Mobile TV experience to Symbian-enabled smartphones.

The partnership involves Sling Media porting a version of its SlingPlayer Mobile software application to the Symbian OS in select European and Asian countries during the 4th quarter 2006 and ultimately to the U.S.
