Silicon Power Blaze B10 Flash Drive

The Silicon Power Blaze B10 is a USB 3.0 flash drive with built in software-based encryption. It also warms up with use and when it does, the color of the heat sensitive ink pattern on the side changes from blue to red!

This way you will know if the drive gets too hot to handle. The drive is rated for speeds of up to 70MB/s and the Blaze B10 comes with a lifetime warranty. No word on pricing or availability just yet though.

Do you love comics, but don’t particularly want to flex the brain muscles required to actually read them? Then suit up spaceman, because this helmet is for you. Jonathan Robson has designed this Lego minifigure-inspired helmet, just for you.

The helmet has volume control and even a page skipping button on the side. On the back, there’s even a port for plugging in a USB flash drive loaded with audio content. Sadly the helmet is designed just for kids, but if you have a tiny head then go for it.

SilverStone PS06 Full-Tower PC Case

SilverStone is set to release another full-tower PC case for the Japanese market. It is dubbed the PS06 and is sleek and stylish steel case that supports both Micro ATX and ATX motherboards.

It features a top-placed I/O panel with two USB 3.0 and audio ports, five 5.25-inch external drive bays, one 3.5-inch external drive bay, four 3.5-inch internal drive bays, a side panel window, eight expansion slots and has two fans. The PS06 will ship in Japan on May 13th for 11,980 Yen (or about $145). No word on when it will show up elsewhere.

MSI unveils Core i3-based CX640, CR640 laptops

MSI has now announced its new 15.6-inch CX640 and CR640 laptops, featuring a “clutter free design,” and they are priced to be budget-friendly. Both laptops feature an Intel Core i3-2310M processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive as well as a pair of USB 3.0 ports.

The silver CX640 has NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 520M with Optimus technology, while the black CR640 model has basic integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. The CR640 or CX640 will cost you $630 and $680, respectively and look like they will be good mid-range laptops.

Samsung Announces New External Hard Drives with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Interface

Samsung has announced a new line of hard disk drives, including two portable drives and a desktop storage station. These drives support the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface and will deliver transfer speeds of up to 5 gigabits per second, which is 10 times higher than USB 2.0. So you will be able to transfer a 25-gigabyte full HD movie in just four minutes flat. Not bad eh?

The M2 Portable is an entry-level model, while the C2 Portable 3.0 is the premium version. The M2 comes with a matte finish that covers scratches and fingerprints and has curved sides that allow for a good grip. The C2 will have a high-gloss cover with a crystallized pattern. The drives are available in densities of up to 1 terabyte and will come in four colors: Brown Black, Noble Beige, Mist Gray and Clay Orange.

If you like your flash drives to look like other things, that’s cool. But do you really want it to look like a Padlock? Well, if so, then check out Brando’s new USB Lock Flash Drive. It looks like a brass padlock. Instead of a keyhole, it sports a USB connector.

The flash drive comes in 2GB for $21, 4GB for $24 and 8GB for $34. It looks like it is wide enough that some USB ports may get blocked when it is plugged in though and that isn’t good.

With all of the great things that a notebook can do, why can’t they pump out decent sound? Even gaming laptops have this problem. Well, there are solutions available. Mitsubishi REAL BHR500 HDTVs

Mitsubishi has announced the new REAL BHR500 entry-level HDTVs, which come equipped with a built in Blu-ray disc player and recorder, as well as a 500GB hard disk drive. They also support digital TV tuners, a USB slot, an SD card slot and an Ethernet port.

The REAL BHR500 series will come in 4 different sizes, with four different prices. The 40-inch and 46-inch models feature a full HD (1080p) resolution Diamond 120Hz Panel, while the smaller 26-inch and 32-inch models only support 1366 x 728 LCD 120Hz panels. The Mitsubishi REAL BHR500 HDTVs cost between $1,643 and $3,286.

Acer Aspire Z5761 all-in-one coming in May

Acer has a sleek new all-in-one called the Aspire Z5761. It features a 23-inch Full HD display, your choice of Sandy Bridge Core i5-2400s, Core i5-2500s, or Core i7-2600s CPUs, up to a 1.5TB SATA II HDD, a Blu-ray or SuperMulti drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT440, GT435M, or GT420 graphics, and a hybrid TV-tuner card.

Other features include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and eight USB 2.0 ports. It also comes preloaded with Clear.fi tech, so you can have access to multimedia content on other Acer devices. Prices start at £799 ($1305), and it arrives in May.

TDK Sound Cube

TDK was a big name back in the days of cassettes, but they really haven’t done anything in the last many years, until recently with their retro boombox, and now this portable stereo. And judging by how awesome these devices look, we are glad to have them back.

The Sound Cube costs $300 and is part of TDK’s Life on Record audio series. The 17-pound portable enclosure measures 9.8″ x 9.8″ x 9.8″ and features a pair of 5-1/4″ full-range coax drivers, and the other two sides have passive reflectors that look like speakers. You place it in the center of your room and it pumps sound out.

The Fuuvi combines two gadgets in one and there’s also a slot for a MicroSD card at the bottom with the USB opposite. The Fuuvi camera features a 3.1 megapixel camera with 1280 x 1024 resolution and bright colors for anyone’s tastes.

You won’t be taking any serious photos with it, but it might be a handy little accessory if you like novelty toys and don’t always have your phone camera handy.

HP readying EliteBook 2560p and 2760p notebooks

HP is hard at work readying two new portable notebooks for release, the EliteBook 2560p and 2760p. The news comes from HP itself and a NotebookItalia report, which reveals some specs for the 12.1-inch notebooks.

They might replace the current 12.1-inch 2540p and 2740p as they are getting long in the tooth at about a year old. The 2760 will be a convertible tablet, and the 2560 a more traditional notebook. Both will feature USB 3.0, DisplayPort and your choice of 1.4GHz Core i5, 1.6GHz Core i7 and 2.7GHz Core i7 chips. They may also have up to 16GB of RAM and a Blu-ray drive. The 2760p offers an LED-backlit 1366×768 display and an optional 1440×900.
