There are a few times when you want to use a mouse, but you don’t have a desk handy. Typically, this need is most common when you are trying to navigate the web on your HTPC from the couch across the room or when giving a presentation standing up in front of a group.
The WeraMouse V2 is now available for just such occasions. The wireless mouse has a range of 8 meters and has a trackball that sits on top of a ring like device. Under the trackball is a pair of mouse buttons and a scroll wheel.





I am still not ready to start looking at upgrading any of my notebook or desktop computer to SSDs. At this point, the SSD is still too expensive for the slight benefit a consumer will get from the SSD upgrade. I will hold out until prices drop significantly for SSDs and capacities are more in line with what you can get on a traditional HDD.
Samsung announced the STORY Station external hard drive, which includes a few interesting features. The storage device uses a 3.5-inch HDD for backing up your information. It will be available in only Korea first. Some features include a USB 2.0 interface and Auto Backup, SafetyKey and SecretZone functions will give you an optimum level of security for your data.
Flash drives are useful little gadgets that allow computer users to easily transfer data between multiple machines and act like the floppy discs of the past. The problem is that moving sensitive files on a flash drive can make for trouble is the drive is unsecured.

Samsung just released three new 240Hz LED TVs, which are competing with LG’s 240Hz LH90 LED TVs. Known as the PAVV 8000, 7000 and 6000 series, these TVs are compatible with YouTube, DLNA, and feature a USB 2.0 port to display both photos and DviX videos from USB flash drives.

Digital Cowboy announced their Media Cowboy DC-MC35ULI set-top box that acts as media hub and a lot more. It may look like it was endorsed by DC comics, but nope. It’s not the set-top-box of choice for Batman and Superman. It works with many media sources and is capable of playing most audio and video formats in 720p.

ViewSonic’s latest offering is a sweet looking super-thin all in one computer. One that is only 35mm thick. For comparison, that’s a little thinner than the iMac. Inside you’ll find an Atom 1.6Ghz CPU, a DVD RW drive, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard disk. The screen is a 19 incher.
