New Acer Veriton Z410G All-in-one

Acer is set to release an updated version of its Veriton Z280G all-in-one PC. The Veriton Z410G is powered by the Pentium E5700 processor and features 2GB DDR3 SDRAM, a 320GB hard drive and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500.

The Acer Veriton Z410G also sports a high-definition 21.5-inch LCD display for brilliant images with its 16:9 aspect ratio, a 5ms response time and full HD 1920×1080 resolution. The system also comes with 8 USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA port for transferring data to an external hard drive.

The Harris BlackJack USB drive is aimed at the computer forensics field. It will search and catalog targeted information on suspect computers. You can configure it to search for specific data or types of data with a special configuration utility.

The drive is compatible with Windows computers and can boot in under 3 seconds flat. LED indicators let you know if the software has found what it was searching for.

Mach Xtreme has just announced a new storage capacity for its MX-FX USB 3.0 flash drive line-up. The 16GB model. Like the 32GB and 64GB models, this new 16GB model comes with MLC NAND Flash memory chips and a USB 3.0/2.0 interface.

It will deliver read and write speeds of up to 125MB/s and 55MB/s. The 16GB MX-FX USB 3.0 Flash Drive will ship as soon as tomorrow for an unknown price.

Super Talent has a gob of different flash drives and external storage devices that cater to the needs of many different user types. The latest product that the company has unveiled is a flash drive that is designed to go everywhere with you, assuming you have your keys.

The flash drive is called the CKB and it is made to fit onto any keying with a large opening that will fit even the fattest key rings. The drive comes in black or silver colors and can be had in multiple capacities. The USB connector is exposed to the elements, but the drive has a rugged design.

Logitech has unveiled a new set of headphones called the F540. The new headphones are designed for gamers and will work with different game systems. You can use the headphones on a PC, PS3, or Xbox console.

The headphones connect with a 2.4GHz USB adapter with a wireless range that will let you play from across the room. The headphones support chat in games and they use 40mm tuned drivers for good sound quality.

Sony updates VAIO E, F, L with new CPUs, graphics

Sony has upgraded PC lineup with some speed and option upgrades across some models. The VAIO E series gets most of the updates: options for the faster 2.66GHz Core i5 580M and 2.53GHz Core i5 460M, and a new 2GHz Pentium dual-core option for build-to-order models.

The EA and EB now have options for Mobility Radeon HD 5650 video and 1080p displays, while every E series gets purple as a color choice. The VAIO F gets a visual performance upgrade with the newer GeForce GT 425M and a single USB 3.0 port.

Patriot Xporter Rage USB Flash Drives hit Europe

Patriot Memory’s newest line of USB flash drives ‘Xporter Rage‘ have finally hit European stores, despite being introduced back in August. These are available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB sizes, are capless and have rubberized casing, with a retractable USB 2.0 connector.

They will deliver read and write speeds of up to 27MB/s and 25MB/s. The 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models are priced at 17.50 Euro, 32.39 Euro, 62.14 Euro and 126.93 Euro.

AVADirect ships X7200 gaming notebook

AVADirect has announced a new gaming notebook that it claims to be the fastest desktop replacement on the planet. A quick look at some of the features and AVADirect may be right, the thing is a beast. The X7200 has an aluminum case and sports two USB 3.0 ports.

It can be fitted with 12GB of triple channel DDR3 RAM and has three 9.5mm drive bays along with onboard RAID support. That is enough storage space for 2TB of HDDs or 1TB of SSD storage. The machine can be fitted with two NVIDIA GTX 480M GPUs with a total of 4GB of GDDR5 graphics memory.

Kingmax outs new line of USB Flash Drives

The latest member to Kingmax’s USB flash drive family, the PD-01 is available in 2GB (green), 4GB (orange), 8GB (blue) and 16GB (red) capacities.

These drives are waterproof and dustproof and come with an innovative 360 degree revolving protection cap, a retractable USB 2.0 connector. They also make use of COB (Chip-On-Board) technology. We don’t have any info yet on pricing.

Yamaha’s new TSX-140 iPod dock does it all

Yamaha has just announced a new dock called the TSX-140. It has a neat retro design that will accommodate the iPhone 3, 3GS and 4 as well as all iPods. If you’re not an iPod user, you can just stick in a USB drive with music and you’re good to go.

But that’s not all. It has a built in FM/AM radio, PC connectivity via USB and can play CDs. It’s available in 3 colors options: Brick Orange, Grey and black for about 40,000 Yen or $474.

Sony Optiarc unveils slim external Blu-ray drive

If that Buffalo external Blu-ray drive that I mentioned a while ago was too large for your tastes, the new Sony Optiarc slim Blu-ray drive might be perfect for your needs. The new optical drive is very thin and can write to BDR media at 6x.

The drive also plays Blu-ray films and can write to DVD and CD media as well. The drive can record a 25GB Blu-ray disc in about 25 minutes. It also supports the playback of 3D Blu-ray films. The external optical drive may be perfect for notebook or netbook users without an optical drive or for machines that don’t have Blu-ray.

Novatel launches smallest dual carrier HSPA+ USB device on the market

Novatel is the maker of some of the most common USB modems and other devices that you will find at many carriers around the country. The latest offering from Novatel is being called the smallest dual carrier HSPA+ USB modem on the market. The small device supports two carrier networks and was unveiled this week in Spain.

The modem is called the Ovation MC545 and showed an OTA download speed of 40.5Mbps in demonstrations in Spain. The device is based on 3GPP Release 8 Standards and has a peak max download speed of 42Mbps and upload speed of 5.7Mbps.
