Hercules has unveiled a new tool for the pro DJs out there that is called the DJ Console 4-Mx. The thing is crammed full of features and has a surprisingly reasonable price considering it is pro level DJ hardware. The device has dual jog wheels that are 4.7-inches in diameter and three fourths of an inch tall.

The 4-Mk can be used in both 2-deck and 4-deck modes. When in 2-deck mode the console has 89 controls and when in 4-deck mode the console has 150 controls. The job wheels also have detection sensor that detect the weight of a hand.

Hammacher Schlemmer is well known for having a catalog chocked full of cool gadgets and gear. The catch is that the prices in the catalog are often very high. The company has unveiled a new device called the Programmable Gaming Robot that reminds me a bit of the Rovio from Wowee.

The robot has two wheels and comes with accessories allowing it to play seven different games that are included. The games are interactive environments that are composed of a base station, energy port, special effects hub, and three gaming pads.

Forget drunk driving. The Beer Trike drives your drinks. It is essentially a mobile pub. And perhaps one of mankind’s finest inventions. It could be as big as the ice cream truck, only for adults. The beer trike was built for the British Biker Build-Off.

You have your usual bike along with a sidecar, and a completely operational mobile bar. It also sports air suspension on all three wheels. The only concern is how to keep all of that beer cold. If I could, I would buy this and travel the country filling mugs everywhere and becoming a legend.

We love video games around here. Whether we’re playing the Xbox 360, the PS3 or even an old Atari 2600. We thought we would take a look at the history of gaming consoles from 1972 to the present. You grew up with the vintage consoles, you play the new ones, so take a walk down memory lane and revisit all your favorites from the massive list below.

I am a big fan of racing and driving simulation games. Titles like GTR, Need for Speed and more are some of my favorite games. I am all for anything that makes for more realism when playing, especially things like force feedback wheels and racing seats.

Fanatec already offers a force feedback Porsche branded racing wheel and a budget wheel stand for driving sim fans. Fanatec has now announced a new racing cockpit for the truly hard-core racing sim fan. The product is called the Renn Sport Cockpit and is designed especially for force feedback racing wheels.

When I came across this one, at first I thought it was an RC lawnmower. Nope. It’s just the lowest car ever. The Fiat 126 Flat Out is touted as the world’s lowest vehicle, at just under 22-inches tall. Even more surprising, it was built by Andy Saunders and his two man team in just THREE days. Those were 18-hour days. He built the car as part of the celebrations for the 40th Annual Autojumble at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, Hampshire. Awesome as it is, it would be pretty sweet to see this thing mowing a huge stretch of lawn at super speeds.

The Magic Tricycle is aptly named because it’s capable of switching from three wheels to just two, becoming a motorbike for those tight spaces. On the highway it uses all three wheels, but when you have need just well, transform. I thought the Proxima concept car was cool until I saw this beauty.

The entire passenger cabin rotates as the third wheel is lifted into the air, which sprouts some kind of foil that keeps the chassis stable.Yes, it looks like a Transformer from the upcoming sequel and we’d all love to see it do battle. Alas, it’s a design concept by student Seyyed Javad Ghaffarian, created for Car Design News’ 2008 design contest. I think Michael Bay should give this guy a call don’t you?

Don’t get me wrong, this thing is awesome. Aside from being a great vehicle during a zombie attack, it also combines exercise with an eco-friendly way to mow the lawn. Problem is, if your lawn is larger this thing could be deadly. I mean, those old push mowers aren’t as easy to push around as they look. They tend to bind up a bit and resist if they aren’t well greased.

So, you’re pedaling away mowing your 16 acres, the hot sun beating down on you as you pant for breath. Then you get all faint and fall off because you’re a lard ass. What do you think happens next? I’ll tell you what happens. That’s when some lurking zombie gets on the Mowercycle and chops you up into pieces.

A company by the name of NZXT is debuting a flashy new PC gaming chassis for those who want to beat the dull beige. This one is called Khaos and it prices around $400.

NZXT said its stylish new Khaos case features three channel cooling, including a three 120mm fan bracket placed exactly before the video card and motherboards. There’s also dual power support for power hungry PC gamers.

Ky Michaelson, better known as the Rocketman, has been messing around with rockets most of his life and has even managed to create a few nice rocket inspired contraptions. This is the Rocket Chair. It’s what a dental chair would look like if Flash Gordon were a dentist. It will actually take off and keep you in the air for 45 seconds.

The chair is all metal and even features three wheels that have independent suspensions. A 500 Pound Thrust Hydrogen-Peroxide rocket motor sits behind the chair, which will drink up seven gallons of fuel during it’s forty five second flight. If you want to see it, it will be on display at the Bloomington Art Centre in Minnesota.

First of all, this thing looks like it needs a Hello Kitty face on it. It’s basically a pink and white torpedo for women to lay on top of and get touched inappropriately by it’s robot innards. Since it’s a robot, it won’t have to worry about sexual harassment. It’s got wheels too, so once you get your wife good and relaxed, you can just wheel her wherever the hell you want and go play the Wii.

It’s ridiculously expensive at $13,500, but what the hell, it’s got a huge pink visor and a touchscreen. It also “automatically adapts its speed and pressure to the body part it’s massaging,” and since you are laying out all that dough, they give you a built-in audio system too. If you ask me it looks like a futuristic hospital bed that’s only going to fit women on the very thin end of the scale. I guess the moral of the story is to quit eating three square meals at Mickey D’s for a month and only then will you be privileged enough to get a robot massage.

Check out this guy with a little too much time and money on his hands with a customized Segway. The personal transport device is outfitted with what looks like 6 small car tires, three on each side, making it the widest and possibly the most impractical Segway we’ve seen yet. The tires stretch it out two feet on either side and sound like they add as much noise as they do traction. Check out the video after the jump.

The Ferrari Limo is probably better suited for speed to get you to the club on time, but this H2 Hummer limousine with its triple axle setup gives you your own club on wheels.

This super-duty stretched version of the already-huge Hummer rolls on eight 22′s and hauls around 2 VIP lounges, disco floors and ceilings, some custom gull-wing doors in back and a level-5 sounds system. Take a look at a photo of the interior after the jump, which appears to be as roomy as they get. No details are given about how many people it can hold, but we’re guessing it’s enough.

Here we are seven years into the new millennium and there isn’t a flying automobile in sight. Wasn’t the future supposed to look a lot more cool by now? If a European company is correct with their prediction we may have the means to turn your vehicle into a flying craft and in only four short years.

The design sketch is for the PAL-V, or Personal Air and Land Vehicle. Designed by Dutch-based inventor John Bakker the vehicle uses a Dynamic Vehicle Control system so that when it’s rolling on the ground using its three wheels it won’t go flipping off the road and when it’s flying in the air the gyroscope keeps the unit level.

Mitsubishi took the wraps off of a new zero-emission, all-electric concept car called the e MIEV Sport. Aside from having a pretty cool look to it, the i MIEV Sport features a couple less-common additions to add juice back to the battery while driving.

As with many other electric and hybrid cars, this one uses a regenerative braking system, but also adds a solar roof and small wind turbines built into the front grill. Additions like these aren’t going to make a drastic difference in the range, but adding a convex solar roof was found to bring as much as an additional 20 mile range to a Prius. The turbines would likely be less, but certainly can’t hurt.
