HTC Puccini 10-inch tablet revealed

The first solid images of HTC’s upcoming 10-inch slate have surfaced, called the HTC Puccini. Looks pretty sweet. We don’t have much in the way of confirmed specifications, but the tablet will feature an 8-megapixel camera with what appears to be a dual-LED flash, as well as stereo speakers and a microphone.

The Puccini also supports stylus input just like the HTC Flyer. Other rumored specs include a 1.5GHz processor, Android Honeycomb, HTC Sense and a 4G LTE radio. Nothing on a launch date, but we hope it will be soon.

Mad Catz Gears of War 3 audio peripherals for Xbox 360

Mad Catz, makers of all kinds of third party gaming peripherals and accessories, has just announced some new Gears of War 3 gear with some licensed GoW3 audio devices for the Microsoft Xbox 360. They intend to ship them in time for the game’s launch later this year.

They are available for pre-order now. There is the Throat Communicator, the Performance Stereo Gaming Headset and the Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound Headset for $29.99, $99.99 and $179.99. You gotta have the gear for Gears Of War.

Cregle PenBook Windows 7 Tablet

The Cregle PenBook Windows 7 tablet is different than most on the market. It comes with a digital pen and an active digitizer, which you can use to draw or write on the display. The device measures 10.4-inch x 7.2-inch x 0.7-inch and weighs 2.3 pounds.

Some of the features of this tablet include a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) display that supports multitouch gestures and palm rejection, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, two USB ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, built-in mic, stereo speakers, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1. Nothing on pricing or availability yet.

The latest Android tablet from Pioneer Computers Australia is the DreamBook ePad N10. This device is powered by a 1GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, has a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 or 1280 x 800 multitouch display, a 1GB DDR2 RAM, 4GB/16GB SSD eMMC, and a microSD card slot.

There’s also a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 1080p Full HD video playback support, a USB port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headset jack, stereo speakers, a 6600mAh battery and Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

The Pioneer SE-CL331 are the world’s first washable earphones. They can be soaked and washed after every session if you like and it won’t damage the electronic equipment. They are available in white, bright blue and pink.

Sofa transport. That’s what we’ve been waiting for. The Sofa Bike is the creation of Jacek Holubowicz and was recently displayed at the International Design Festival in Berlin. It has two separate 8 gear hubs, hydraulic brakes which are operated by the front handlebar and dynamic chain steering.

We want one. It would get us off the couch- Wait, no. It also has a built in stereo, a 17 mAh battery, and a convertible roof that can be folded down.

Sonys new wireless headset looks good. This new official PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset features 7.1 virtual surround sound, a retractable, mutable microphone, and standard embedded volume controls. You’ll be coordinating your attacks and talking smack to your enemies in style.

These headset connects via a USB dongle, and will push headset status updates like your battery life, directly to your TV screen. This Sony-approved headset will cost you $100 when they arrive in September.

Panasonic Outs 3 New Xacti Style Camcorders

Panasonic has introduced a trio of new camcorders, the HX-WA10, HX-DC15 and the HX-DC1. All three models feature HD resolution and will hit stores in Japan next month. The only model that’s waterproof is the HX-WA10 which is good in up to 3 feet. It features a 16MP sensor, a stereo mic, mini HDMI/USB/SDXC interfaces, 2.6-inch LCD and is $550.

The HX-DC15 weighs just 162 grams and features a 3-inch LCD, 16GB of internal memory and will cost you $610. then there’s the entry level HX-DC1 with a 14MP sensor, 80MB of memory, mini HDMI/USB/SDXC interfaces, a stereo mic, and a 3-inch LCD for $425.

We can thank the guys over at Nikon Rumors for the first pictures of the Nikon D5100, which is the successor to the Nikon D5000. The Nikon D5100 will be officially announced tomorrow, but right now we can tell you that the LCD display will swivel to the side and there are new special effects during video including selective colors and miniature effects.

Other features include Full HD video 1920×1080p at 30p, a Stereo mic input, 4 fps, EXPEED 2 processor and an EN-EL14 battery.

Microsoft shows off 234″ touchscreen

There are large touchscreens, and then there are large touchscreens. Microsoft isn’t fooling around with this humongous beast. At the CeBIT 2011 show in Hanover Germany, Microsoft, with the help of a company called Stereolize, showed off ‘Microsoft Cinema’, basically a giant 234-inch touchscreen display.

It has more area than anyone, even an NBA player could touch, but we assume that the touch functionality goes all the way to the top. Pretty impressive if you are the Jolly green giant.

Stereolizer turns your iPad into a Stereo

Here is a great way to turn your iPad into a retro music player. Stereolizer is a new iPad app that allows you to give your iPad some 1980′s style and it provides some handy features too. The Stereolizer iPad app includes access to more than 10,000 streaming web radio stations and lets you arrange your favorite stations into 3 presets of 10 radios each.

While listening to the radio, you can record audio to virtual tapes direct from the radio or audio messages via the built in mic. Just like a retro stereo. After you’ve recorded a collection you can then eject the virtual tape to view and classify, remove or rename them using the iPad keyboard. Pretty cool.

HP is all about business with it’s new HP Omni Pro 110 PC. The business-oriented desktop has a 20-inch widescreen display with an HD anti-glare display, and high-performance stereo speakers.

Other features include a webcam with a microphone, a DVD writer and a 6-in-1 media card reader. The HP Omni Pro 110 PC also has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM, up to a 1TB hard disk drive and optional HP Power Assistant software. Samsung Modus HM6450 Bluetooth Headset

Samsung has announced the Modus 6450 Bluetooth headset. It can be used as a mono-style headset or as a stereo Bluetooth headset since it has a second earbud that can be plugged in. It has Android application support, features voice command functionality, EQ settings, a separate Voice Command button on the headset and dual microphones to support the noise-cancellation feature.

The Modus 6450 supports Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, active pairing, advanced multipoint and multiconnection technology and also offers up to 6-hours of talk time and up to 180-hours of standby time.

Elonex 760ET Android Tablet

Another day, another new Android tablet. The latest to enter the market is from Elonex and it’s called the 760ET. Not a very catchy name, but how are the specs? The device features a 7-inch 480 x 800 resistive touchscreen display, and a 1GHz processor.

You also get 4GB of flash storage, a microSD card slot, a webcam, an accelerometer, WiFi, an HDMI port, built-in stereo speakers and Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show. The Elonex 760ET retails for 99 GBP (or about $162).

Razer Chimaera Wireless Gaming Headphones for Xbox 360 and PC

Razer has some new headphones that will work with the Xbox 360 and the PC. They are called the Chimaera and are available in two styles. A standard stereo version and a 5.1 surround sound version.

Both are wireless and use rechargeable batteries. The Stereo version uses 2.4GHz wireless technology and the 5.1 version uses 5.8GHz. Both also feature a mic that can be flipped up and out of the way. Sound is handled with large 50mm neodymium drivers.
