We all know how versatile Chumby is. This old time gadget above was created with a set of Chumby Guts, an old clock and some brass horns, along with a Dremel by Etsy member AbrahamBook.

It’s a WiFi-enabled Chumby lovingly shoved into a vintage steampunk-styled enclosure. We’re guessing that the Chumbophone doesn’t actually make calls using the horns, but we still dig it. What do you think? Ready to hit the antique store and start modding?

Vacuum tubes powered a whole bunch of gadgets in the past. They even continue to show up in or on our gadgets today. So what could be cooler than a Vacuum tube flash drive? Thanks to the folks at CF14 Industries we now have real Vacuum Tube Flash Drives.

If the Bio-cycle clues us in on the future of Terminator transport, this “Trilo Temporalis” trilobite fossil clock shows us that fossils were creepy, like to tell time, and are itching to get into the whole Steampunk thing. The working antique clock embedded in the head illustrates the passage of time and the connection between prehistoric and modern eras.

Not since the Steampunk R2-D2 have we been so shocked to see the droid in a whole new way. But this time it’s droid blasphemy really. Now the robot holds a 1 3/4-gallon aquarium tank in his central compartment. We always knew there was something fishy about R2, but damned if this doesn’t make us sad. Astromech droids were not made to be used as aquariums people. I don’t care how bad the prequels are.

The domed head rotates with vocal commands and he beeps just like in the movies. But if Luke had this model with him in the Death Star, he would have had to stop and feed fish every so often. The radar eye houses the eyepiece to a built-in periscope that provides an intimate view of the tank.

The Wind, Dyson DC16 handheld cleaner looks like it’s a Sci-Fi ray gun from the future, but you are more likely to see Han Solo cleaning up the Millenium Falcon then shooting lasers with this thing. The device is the love child of Miyake designer Dai Fujiwara and James Dyson. They apparently had too much to drink and started brainstorming about how sexy they could make a vacuum.

The result is a sexy new handheld carpet sucker at an affordable price of $194. It’s got a great steampunk look and a trigger. Need I say more?
