DIY Steampunk cameraWhen the big name camera makers don’t offer any Steampunk cameras, what do you do? You build your own of course. That’s what this guy did. He built himself a homemade steampunk camera. And it’s more than just a digital camera with a brass case on it.

It’s completely homemade. Which is very impressive indeed. Aside from one obviously plastic piece. It must come in handy for snapping photos of all your handlebar-mustached relatives.

Steampunk SegwayThe Steampunk Segway aka Legway, has some trouble making turns, according to the creator, but if you can’t afford a real Segway, this is a cheap DIY alternative. Of course you’ll have to provide all of the power yourself. At least that makes it eco-friendly.

If you want to try your hand at making one, head over to Instructables and make your own Legway. Then prepare to feel the burn. Before you know it, you’ll be saving up for the real deal. Because pedal power is for the birds.

Victorian all-in-one Steampunk PC
Jake Von Slott has created a Steampunk PC design that is sure to be gold with DIY steampunk enthusiasts. He took a huge 24 inch LCD monitor and crammed an entire CPU behind it and the design still looks awesome. If you want to do it yourself, you’ll have to trim of all the excess plastic and get the monitor in a nice rectangular shape. The entire Monitor/CPU assembly sits on an ornate frame that Jake made from a shelf from the dump.

It’s all super ornate. The fan of this computer is even decorated in a neat mesh. Of course everything inside is very un-steampunk. It’s got a state-of-the-art Intel pentium-4 chipset and all the bells and whistles.
