Star Wars USB drives are not new. We’ve covered them before, but now there are some limited edition versions that have Star Wars content pre-loaded on the drives themselves. Content like six trailers, wallpaper, icons, avatars, and sounds. They come in an assortment of characters like Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper, R2D2, Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Princess Leia, and Han Solo.

These are available for preorder now from 1GB to 4GB with prices ranging from $49.95 to $124.95. The fun doesn’t end with the USB drive, they also throw in some fun mimobot stickers and a small carrying case is included as well.

Remember those cute “Star Wars” and “Halo” themed USB memory drives offered by Mimoco? Starting in February the company will offer its second wave of “Star Wars” USB drives with another four characters from George Lucas epic space adventure. Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker (in his orange X-Wing jumpsuit) and bounty hunter Boba Fett are in the second wave. The four new USBs join the first wave “Star Wars” Mimoco drives of Darth Vader, R2-D2, Chewbacca and an Imperial Stormtrooper.

The “Star Wars” USB drives come in 1 GB ($49.95), 2 GB ($69.95) and 4 GB ($109.95) models. Compatible with both Mac and Windows platforms, the USB 2.0 drives are 2 2/8-inches high and limited to 3,500 units. And you bet that you can remove Boba Fett’s helmet and see what his face looks like under that armor.

We’ve had the toys, the breakfast cereal, the clothing, the drapes, the carpets, the cars and sooner than you think there may very well be a “Star Wars” product for everything. Mimoco is doing their part by offering four very funky USB flash drives done up as classic “Star Wars” characters Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and the always anonymous Imperial Stormtrooper.

Every model is available in 1 GB ($69.95), 2 GB ($99.95) and 4 GB ($149.95) versions and come with appropriate bonus content already flashed on the drive like “Star Wars” avatars, …

Although I think that a robot shaped like the top one might have been a better choice for White Box Robotics to use for the injection moldings template for their robots, I think the 914 PC-Bot they ended up with is not too bad looking, in a Star Wars kind of way.
