This Spy Camera Looks Like A Sony Alarm Clock and Radio

Posted in Spy Gear by Conner Flynn on July 21st, 2011

This spy camera is scary because it looks just like a Sony alarm clock. In fact, I have the Sony model that it is imitating in my home. I hope no one has been spying. This hidden camera records 720p HD videos in MPEG4 format and stores them on an SD card (16GB provided).

It will give you a time and date stamp and is motion activated. I don’t think that anyone would even suspect it was more than a clock, especially when it functions as a regular alarm clock/radio when it isn’t spying. It will cost you $329.89.

Japanese Spy Camera looks like a cat

Posted in Spy Gear by Conner Flynn on March 7th, 2011

This weird looking Japanese cat is actually a spy camera. The camera is called the Necono Digital Camera. Ideally a spy camera should not stand out, yet this odd cat completely stands out. Maybe people will just think it is an odd figurine as you record them.

The camera has a 3MP sensor and can shoot both VGA video and still shots. The camera measures 100 x 30 x 30mm and weighs 40G. Apparently the buttons for activating the shutter are on the cats butt and the lens is in the cat’s eye.

Posted in Mobile Phones by Conner Flynn on November 4th, 2010

Here’s the latest addition to the ultra luxurious mobile handset market, the Tonino Lamborghini Spyder handset. The range is priced at $1781 to $2813 because they come with a 316L-grade stainless steel casing and a 2.2-inch (240 x 320 pixels) sapphire crystal scratch resistant LCD display.

A few models in the Spyder range are the S-670, S-680 and S-685 which are the higher end models with rose gold, gold and black/gold PVD finishes. Posted in DVR by Conner Flynn on February 3rd, 2010

The oddly named Tomato T99 is neither red, nor in the fruits and vegetables section of your local supermarket. But it is an interesting device that features digital video recording along with a 1.3-megapixel camera which allows you to use it as a monitoring or spy tool.

It also sports shadow-control to save battery life, where it shuts down the camera automatically when it doesn’t detect anyone there. It’s a feature that will save valuable storage space as well, so that you get all of the important moments that you do want.

Fleximus camera for those hard to reach places

Posted in Concepts by Conner Flynn on December 22nd, 2009

Designer Art Lebedev apparently likes to take pictures of things that are not easily accessible. And so his new design concept called Fleximus, was born.

There’s a lens on one end and a compact peephole viewfinder on the other. Need a larger peephole? Just snap on Art’s larger viewscreen to give you a better look at things. We suppose it’s a good spy cam if you don’t need to be very stealthy. Maybe you can look through keyholes, from around a corner.

Spycam Lighter Camera

Posted in Spy Gear by Conner Flynn on December 8th, 2009

Spycam Lighter CameraThere are so many items that could be spying on us today and we might never know. This one is a video camera disguised as a standard classic style lighter. The only problem with a spy gadget like this is illustrated below.

“Say, you don’t smoke do you?”
“Nope”
“Then why do you have that lighter there on your desk?”
“Oh I just started.”
“I see. Why do you keep pointing it at me while we talk?”
“I’m just fidgety like that”
“When I walked in, it was on the floor. Then you picked it up and positioned it-. Nevermind. I’m being paranoid.”
“What you think this is a camera? You think I’m after some upskirt pics? You’re silly. Anyway, where were we?”

Spy Camera in a tissue box

Posted in Spy Gear by Conner Flynn on November 11th, 2009

Spy Camera in a tissue boxDamn, paranoids and perverts sure have a ton of ways to spy on you these days, but putting a spy camera in a tissue box somehow seems creepier than most of the spy gadgets we feature here. Maybe because it looks extra innocent.

Looks are deceiving. Inside there is a camera that takes color footage during the day and black and white footage at night at a resolution of 720×480 at 30fps. It uses SD cards to store your footage, and can be programmed to activate automatically at a certain time.

Coke can Spy Cam actually looks real

Posted in Spy Gear by Conner Flynn on November 1st, 2009

Coke can Spy Cam actually looks realWe’ve seen our share of spy gadgets, but the problem has always been that most objects do not resemble the real thing and so are useless. This one on the other hand looks just like a real Coke can and so should fool just about anyone.

These fake Coke cans have a camera and DVR built inside. It even goes so far as to have a fake bottom that can be removed to reveal the USB port and on-off switch. Not good enough for you? How about a remote control so that it can be started and stopped from a distance.
