Sony Ericsson has introduced the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro which focuses mostly on messaging and social networking. It comes with a friends application that lets you add 5 best friends and you can then instantly view Facebook and Twitter posts and updates.

It also packs in a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microUSB, WiFi and a 3.5mm audio jack. Look for it in Q3 this year for an unknown price.

Sony NAS-V5 and NAS-V7M Walkman speaker docks

Sony has unveiled the NAS-V5 and NAS-V7M Walkman speaker docks with glorious WiFi, so you can enjoy Internet radio with 32-bit DSPs. There’s also standard AM/FM radio features, an AUX jack and a powered USB port.

Of course there is also a Walkman dock. The $535 NAS-V7M has 16GB of internal memory, while the $428 NAS-V5 does not. Hopefully they will show up outside of Japan soon.

Messless Charger will charge multiple devices at onceIf you have an iPhone, an iPod Touch, a Sony Walkman, and a Nokia smartphone, then the Messless Charger will charge them all at once. It was designed by Italdesign Giugiaro and the charger lets you charge up to four devices at once, which means no wires for each gadget.

Pretty handy charger to have. It comes with a variety of adapters including iPod/iPhone, Nokia handset ports, Sony Ericsson and mini USB. The Messless Charger is available in the UK for about $113.

So far, the road is littered with more corpses than even 300 Spartans can kill. Sony is hoping that their zany Zappin Walkman, shaped like a USB flash drive will be the charm.

It comes with 2GB of storage space, featuring Sony’s Drag and Drop technology for easy file transfer, is compatible with MP3 and WMA file formats, and has an integrated FM Tuner.

Sony E Series Walkman with interchangeable shells for more custom looksSony has a new add-on to the E-series of Walkman media players with three new models that can swap out the outer shell to give each player a more custom look. Around twenty different looks actually ranging from some solid colors to different patterns and you can get more than one to make sure it coordinates with the days ensemble.

The new DAP stick comes in three different models that vary in capacities: NW-E026F (4GB), the NW-E025F (2GB) and the NW-E023F (1GB). They measure 81.9×22.1×13.8mm and also feature a direct USB plug built-in that lets you drag and drop files right on the player with no additional cables needed. The players can support ATRAC, MP3, WMA and AAC as well as tuning in some local FM radio.

Sony Walkman NWZ-B100 series media playerAlong with yesterday’s release of the new video Walkman’s from Sony, they also released a smaller, non-video line of Walkmans which were somewhat overshadowed in the announcement. Although the new NWZ-B100 series do not have video, they do have a 3-line color LCD display to show functions and tracks playing.

The small Walkman supports playing MP3 and WMA audio files and is compatible with Microsoft’s PlayForSure music service. It also has a FM tuner with the ability to set as many as 30 preset stations, and it can record the radio broadcast directly to the player as MP3′s. It also has a microphone built-in should you want to record your own, personally sung songs to the player for future easy-listening.

These trim beauties will come in three memory sizes (1 GB, 2 GB and 4 GB) and in five metallic colors (black, gold, pink, blue and purple.) Weighing in at just 29 grams they can play MP3, AAC, WMA and ATRAC files using Sony’s Clear Audio technology and, of course, dock right into any USB port.
