Asus Designo display with updates land down under

We have already seen some of the displays in the Asus Designo line like the LS246H back in December 2009. Asus has now added a couple new Designo LCDs to its line and has unveiled them in Australia.

The new screens are the LED backlit MS238 and MS228 monitors. The screens share many of the same features like 1920 x 1080 resolutions, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios, and slim 16.5mm thick profiles.

That is one smokingly hot and sexy keyboard. If you’ve been waiting for this sleek beauty, then we have some good news. The Eclipse Litetouch Keyboard has now cleared FCC and it’s almost available to purchase. The Eclipse Litetouch is unique not just because it looks good, but the number pad on the right side of the keyboard has been replaced with an LCD touchscreen.

You can program it with multiple sets of controls to be displayed. The Eclipse Litetouch keyboard will be available in a wired version for $99 and a wireless version for $129.

Nokia releases purple E72 for the ladies

Normally Nokia keeps things pretty uni-sex, but now they have gone and launched a new version of the popular E72 in Purple, trying to appeal to those businesswomen who want something to match their nail polish.

The color is Amethyst Purple to be exact. The E72 Amethyst Purple comes after the black, grey and brown versions that have been available since the Nokia E72′s launch. It surfaced in Lebanon and will apparently start selling there soon.

Samsung’s 3D BD-C6900 Blu-ray player now shipping

When we last checked in with Samsung’s BD-C6900 Blu-ray player, it was available for pre-order. However, soon after it was gone again(At least from Amazon). In any event, it is actually shipping now according to Amazon.

Amazon lists it as “In Stock.” The price is still $399.99 and for that price you’ll get 1GB of integrated memory, “explosive 3D capabilities,” and DLNA streaming. You’ll also get it’s sexy good looks to impress your friends.

Past Present Future Watch is not what your wife wants for your anniversary

The watch has no numbers on the face and has labels reading past at 11oclock, present at 12 and future at 1. The watch has a couple turning wheels inside that align to show you the time in numbers that look digital.

Asus RT-N56U router is looking thin

Well look at this sexy and apparently uber-thin router from Asus. It looks like a prop from a Sci-Fi flick. Sadly we don’t have many details on the RT-N56U, but we can tell you that it was announced at CeBIT this week.

Other than that we know that it has dual band support with the 5GHz band being used, it’s compatible with printers and scanners, and is very fast with 300,000 concurrent sessions available. Feel free to stare. That’s what we’ve been doing.

LG’s 15-inch 15EL9500 OLED TV heads for Europe

We know that you’ve been waiting for LG’s new OLED television, with it’s 3mm-thick display, and you won’t have to wait much longer. It sports a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a 0.001ms response time. It’s sexy on the inside and sexy on the outside.

LG has announced that the 15-inch OLED panel will hit Europe this May and the US in the summer. Those with lots of disposable cash can pick it up for €1,999 (or $2,725). It ain’t cheap, but you already knew that.

Lumigon T1, S1 and E1 Android smartphones offer up some style

You can tell just by looking that these phones come out of Denmark. In all, three sexy additions to the Android lineup from Lumigon Corp. The T1 and S1 are both shipping before July, the S1 offering a sliding T9 keypad. Both feature Android 2.1, Freescale processors, 720p output over HDMI, FM tuning and broadcasting, and the ability to act as a universal remote when you are just chillin.

The E1 is arriving later with a “unique navigation system and shape never experienced in mobile phones.” No pictures have been released just yet, but judging by what we see above, it should be beautiful.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini and Xperia X10 mini pro

We’d been hearing some murmurs about Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10 mini, but it’s the X10 mini pro that’s a surprise. They are nearly identical except for launch colors. The mini ships in black, pearl white, lime, pink, red and silver, while the mini pro comes in just black and red flavors. There’s also a bit of a size difference, and the pro features a QWERTY keyboard.

They run Android 1.6 on a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 and will ship in both North American and global 3G variants. Some other features include quad-band EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and they come with a 2GB microSD card.

HTC Legend appears on Dutch website

The HTC Legend should make an appearance at Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week. In the meantime Dutch carrier KPN has already listed it on its website, where it is available for purchase starting next month.

Looks like the Legend is running a 600Mhz processor and features an optical trackpad, a 3.2″ AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS support and Android 2.1 running beneath the HTC Sense Android skin.

LG Mini GD880 Phone with 16:9 Aspect Ratio

Who’s this sexy beast? The LG Mini GD880, which runs LG’s S-Class OS, and not Android for some reason. Didn’t they get the memo, that everyone is going Android? I guess peer pressure doesn’t always work. Still this phone has some nice specs, like the 16:9 aspect ratio.

On a display of just 3.2-inches. We don’t know a lot about it, but we do know it has a 5.0-megapixel camera with face detection, Wi-Fi, and HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity.

Heineken robot serves you a cold one

This “Heineken Bot” sports Heineken’s green colors and was made by the folks at Middlesex University. The beer-bot was recently shown off at the Kinetica Art Fair in London, where it kept humans inebriated and topped off.

If a human moves their hand above its sonar-sensing head, and then place a cup in its holder they are rewarded with beer. Is there any better reward? No. No there is not.

ASUS MS238H 23-Inch LED-Backlit LCD Monitor

Asus is always dropping new devices and the latest is a 23-Inch LED-Backlit LCD Monitor, model number MS238H for the European market. It looks really sexy, which is a hard trick for a monitor these days.

This widescreen monitor sports a glossy black bezel, with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 2ms response time (G2G), 250 cd/m2 brightness, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and features D-Sub and HDMI connectors.
