Sumixe 7-Inch Android Tablet

Another day, another tablet enters the packed arena. This time it’s a budget-friendly Android tablet from Chinavasion, the Sumixe. This tablet is priced at an affordable $141.33 and features a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive multitouch display, a 720MHz Telechips 8900 ARM11 processor and 256MB of RAM.

Other features include 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a 0.3-megapixel front camera, WiFi, an HDMI port, a built-in 2W speaker, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1800mAh battery and Android 2.1 is running everything.

Eye-Fi Mobile X2 Memory Card

The Eye-Fi Mobile X2 is an 8GB SDHC memory card for instant uploads anywhere. Just wirelessly connect the camera to a mobile device, like your iPhone, iPad or Android device. Owners of other Eye-Fi X2 cards will love Eye-Fi’s Direct Mode, which will arrive later this week, which allows the cards to establish a direct connection to a mobile device by creating their own Wi-Fi network.

When Direct Mode launches it will be accompanied by new Android and iOS apps that allow smartphones and tablets to receive files sent from an Eye-Fi X2 memory card. Direct Mode and the apps are free upgrades to every Eye-Fi X2 card. You can expect the Eye-Fi Mobile X2 on April 17th for $79.99.

HTC Flyer hitting Europe on May 9

The highly anticipated HTC Flyer tablet will hit European stores on May 9. That solves the question of when it will arrive in the Uk, but we still don’t know when the seven-inch Android device will be upgraded from Android 2.4 to Android 3.0 which is tablet-optimized and used by competing devices.

What about pricing? Well, earlier leaks for the UK had the unlocked 3G, 32GB version at £600 ($982). In Germany, the same device costs about the same at 669 Euros ($904).

MTS 1055 Android Tablet for Russia

MTS has just released their newest Android tablet for the Russian market. The MTS 1055 features a 7-inch 800 x 480 capacitive multitouch display, a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and a 3.0-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Other features include an FM tuner, GPS, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a microUSB port, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3400mAh battery and Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show. The MTS 1055 will cost you 13,000 Rubles ($465 American).

Delkin 633x Ultrafast SDHC Memory Cards

Delkin has launched their latest and fastest SD memory card, boasting transfer speeds up to 95MB/s read, 80MB/s write and a 633X speed rating that more than triples previous Class 10 capabilities. Those are some amazing specs. It may be so fast that it flies out of your device.

The new Elite 633X UHS-I SDHC memory card from Delkin uses the Secure Digital Association’s “Ultra High Speed” (UHS-I) specification, which allows bus-interface speeds of up to 104 Megabytes per second and it has full backwards compatibility among SDHC and SDXC host devices.

Toshiba Camileo P100 and B10 pocket camcorders

Toshiba is getting ready to ship two new models in their line of Camileo pocket camcorders in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The B10 camcorder has a candy bar shape and a front-facing lens. It shoots at Full HD resolution, takes 16 megapixel stills, has a 16X digital zoom, and handles SDXC cards as large as 64GB.

The P100 has the same specs and adds 8X optical zoom. We don’t have any pricing info yet, but we can tell you that this pair will go on sale sometime in the second quarter.

Mitsubishi REAL BHR500 HDTVs

Mitsubishi has announced the new REAL BHR500 entry-level HDTVs, which come equipped with a built in Blu-ray disc player and recorder, as well as a 500GB hard disk drive. They also support digital TV tuners, a USB slot, an SD card slot and an Ethernet port.

The REAL BHR500 series will come in 4 different sizes, with four different prices. The 40-inch and 46-inch models feature a full HD (1080p) resolution Diamond 120Hz Panel, while the smaller 26-inch and 32-inch models only support 1366 x 728 LCD 120Hz panels. The Mitsubishi REAL BHR500 HDTVs cost between $1,643 and $3,286.

Falcon Northwest FragBox is small and powerful

Falcon Northwest’s custom FragBox gaming computer lives up to it’s name, with the latest modern processor, two graphics cards and 24 gigs of RAM, all in a case roughly the size of a shoebox. A shoebox that holds shoes that will kick you like a champion kickboxer. It’s nice and portable too since it has a handle.

The Fragbox is 15 inches long, eight inches tall and weighs just 25 pounds. For a machine that includes specs like 24 gigs of RAM, dual Radeon 6970s, an Intel Core i7 Extreme processor, and a 256 gig SSD, it would cost you about $5,600. Lower spec systems start at $1,700.

Archos Arnova 8 Android Tablet now available for Pre-Order

If you have been waiting for the Archos Arnova 8, the Android tablet is now available for pre-order in the US via the J&R online store. It will cost you just $159.99. That price isn’t very painful.

To refresh your memory, the Arnova 8 features an 8-inch 800 x 600 resistive touchscreen display, a 600MHz processor, a 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, G-sensor, 720p HD video playback support, a USB 2.0 port, two built-in speakers, WiFi and Android 2.1 is running things.

K-Touch W700 Tegra 2 Android Phone

K-Touch has introduced the W700, an Android smartphone powered by dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, with Android 2.2, 512MB of RAM and 8GB internal memory. It packs in a 3.8-inch 480×800 capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording and a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for your video chat needs.

The K-Touch W700 should prove a little tougher than normal thanks to it’s metal casing and it supports GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. Since it was designed for China market, it comes with apps for Sina Weibo, QQ, Kaixin, and Youku. There’s also an FM tuner, microSD card slot, digital compass, accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.

Coby Kyros MID7024 Android Tablet

Coby’s latest device is the Kyros MID7024. This tablet is powered by a 1GHz Samsung S5PV210 ARM Cortex A8 processor and has 512MB RAM, the Google Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and a 7-inch resistive touchscreen display with a 800 x 480 screen resolution.

The Fuuvi combines two gadgets in one and there’s also a slot for a MicroSD card at the bottom with the USB opposite. The Fuuvi camera features a 3.1 megapixel camera with 1280 x 1024 resolution and bright colors for anyone’s tastes.

You won’t be taking any serious photos with it, but it might be a handy little accessory if you like novelty toys and don’t always have your phone camera handy.

Samsung launches premium SD card range in South Korea

Samsung has launched their new premium SD card and microSD card range in South Korea. Samsung’s memory cards are known for being rugged and reliable so you can count on them. They will be available in two categories, Essential and Plus. Class 4 for Essential and Class 6 for Plus. And they come with a limited warranty.

The cards range in capacities from 4GB to 16GB with a read speed of up to 17MB/s and a write speed of up to 13MB/s. The cards are water-proof, magnet proof and dust proof and will survive temperatures from 85C to -40C.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Android Tablet hits UK on March 30th

ASUS’ new Android tablet, the Eee Pad Transformer, is headed to the UK on March 30th. The device should cost between 379 GBP ($606) and 399 GBP ($639), depending on the amount of storage you choose. You can choose 16GB, 32GB or 64GB capacities.

The Eee Pad Transformer features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 capacitive touchscreen display, a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 512MB/1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera, and an optional full QWERTY keyboard that turns the tablet into a notebook style PC and runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
