Samsung S27A950D 27-Inch 3D LCD Monitor

Samsung has just released a stylish new 3D LCD monitor, the S27A950D, for the European market. This 27 inch monitor features a 120Hz panel, it is LED-backlit and provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, and a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

Other features include 300 cd/m2 brightness, a 2ms response time, and comes with a pair of active 3D glasses. There’s also a built-in IR emitter for synching with the 3D glasses, dual-DVI, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectors. The S27A950D is available for pre-order in Europe for about $812.

Google Nexus Prime

We knew that Google was working on a new Nexus smartphone and now we have some news. According to BGR, Google’s first Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone will be called the Nexus Prime, and it will be made by Samsung. The display is expected to feature a 720p resolution, and it looks like it will be a Super AMOLED HD display, and feature a dual core 1.2GHz or 1.5Ghz OMAP 4460 processor.

It will be the first to launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include 1GB of RAM and a five megapixel camera that will be able to record full High Definition video in 1080p. It sounds pretty tasty so far.

Samsung 950 Series 3D LED Monitor Now Shipping

Samsung has announced that their new and beautiful 950 Series 3D LED monitors have started shipping. The new monitor was first seen at CES this year and had to have the drool cleaned off of it all day long. It features a 27 inch screen size with 1920 x 1080 pixels of native screen resolution.

These monitors also come with Samsung Apps and Smart Hub installed and have Samsung’s Ultra Clear Panel technology. Other features include full HD resolution, a 2Ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, D-SUB, HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI-DualLink connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 photos and specifications

So now the Samsung galaxy Tab 8.9 is official and we have some official press photos and more detailed specs. The Samsung galaxy Tab 8.9 measures just 8.6mm thick, making it an uber thin and sleek tablet, thinner than the new iPad 2 even. It weighs just 470g and comes with Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb and a custom Touchwiz UI from Samsung.

Other features include an 8.9 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, a 1GHz dual core processor and it will play back full HD video in 1080p. There’s also a three megapixel camera on the back and a two megapixel camera in front. Two models will be available: one with Wifi and one with WiFi and HSPA+.

Samsung Galaxy S2 specs leaked

Samsung had announced that they would show off their new dual core Android smartphone at MWC 2011 next week, and now we have some possible specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S2. Those specs include a dual core 1.2GHz Samsung Exynos processor and a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display.

Other specs include 1GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera that can record Full HD video in 1080p and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, built in NFC technology and Bluetooth 3.0. Android 2.3 Gingerbread will be running things.

Samsung 750 and 950 3D LED monitors

Samsung’s new 750 series an 950 series will come in both 23 and 27 inch sizes with 1080p resolution, a two-millisecond response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, D-sub, HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-DualLink connectivity.

You can also get them with a TV tuner and they will handle 3D for gaming, TV, films, and user-generated content. The hybrid 750s and all the 950s can do 2D-to-3D conversion from PCs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and set-top boxes. Sadly we don’t yet have a price, but we do know that the line hits stores in March.

More details on Samsung’s Dual core Galaxy S2

Thanks to a South Korean website, we have some new info on the Samsung Galaxy S successor. The Galaxy S2 is expected to feature a dual-core CPU and an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p FullHD video recording.

The Galaxy S2 will operate on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be based on Samsung’s custom dual-core Orion SoC. The platform uses two ARM Cortex A9 cores both running at 1GHz. Other features of this next-gen Galaxy include a 4.3″ WVGA screen with Super AMOLED plus technology, NFC integration and the whole thing is just 9mm thick.

LG LU3000 Android 2.2 Phone

LG has an interesting Android-powered phone for the South Korean market, the LG LU3000. The device has been called a higher-end Optimus Chic E720 and features a 3.8-inch 800 x 480 pixel IPS display and is powered by a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor.

Aside from the processor speed, it’s been boted that the phone seems faster than the Samsung Galaxy S and iPhone 4, both of which also have 1GHz processors. Some specs include that 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor, a 3.8-inch 800 x 480 pixel IPS display, HDMI output, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, Full HD 1080p video recording and Android 2.2 Froyo.

Samsung announces two new Full HD Monitors

Samsung has just added two new Full HD monitors to its lineup with the 22-inch SyncMaster 2243DW and 24-inch SyncMaster 2443DW, both for the European market. These are aimed at business users and both are widescreen, delivering a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.

Other features include a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the 2243DW and a 70,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio on the 2443DW, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. They are also compliant with TCO 5.0 standard and have D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort connectors.

This 27-inch Samsung monitor is the first LCD to tout an amazing 1ms response time, halving the previous best in this category of 2ms. Pretty impressive. Not sure it will be noticeable though in daily use. With that great response time however, there is also a lack of stand adjustment and Samsung’s Touch of Color enclosure.

Other features include 1920 x 1080 resolution, 300 nits of brightness, HDMI input, and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. You can pick up the Samsung P2770FH later this month for just $400.

Samsung unveils HMX-T10 HD camcorder

Samsung just introduced its latest HMX-T10 camcorder, which features a 20-degree angled lens and the ability to capture up to 1920 x 1080 resolution videos and stills up to 4.7-megapixels. There’s also a 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD display so you can see what you’re filming while you are filming it.

Some other features include optical image stabilization, and a 10x zoom. It will cost you $299 when it arrives in September. If you’ve been holding off on a camcorder, this might be the one.

Samsung releases four new 3D LED HDTVs

Samsung is all set to release four new 3D HDTVs. The 65-inch UN65C8000 is an LED-backlit unit that supports Samsung’s Real 240Hz panel and Wi-Fi connectivity with an 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The 50-inch PN50C680 and 58-inch PN58C680 feature a 1080p display resolution on 600Hz panels. Both 3D HDTVs have the AllShare feature, allowing them to access media on other PCs or other DLNA-compatible devices.

Lastly, the 50-inch PN50C490 supports a lower 720p resolution display. The 65-inch Samsung UN65C8000, 50-inch PN50C680, 58-inch PN58C680 and 50-inch PN50C490 are all priced at $6,000, $2,300, $1,600 and $1,100.

Samsung unveils ST80 camera with WiFi, swiveling-lens, HMX-E10 pocket camcorder

Samsung Eco-friendly 50-series Monitors

Samsung has announced four upcoming 50-series monitors. These LED-backlit monitors include the 20-inch BX2050, 21.5-inch BX2250, 23-inch BX2350 and 24-inch BX2450. All are just under three quarters of an inch thick and deliver about 95 percent coverage of the sRGB color gamut.

The 20-inch model sports a 1600 x 900 pixel resolution, 5ms response time, VGA and DVI-D inputs, while the 21.5-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch models have 1080p resolutions, a 2ms response time, VGA connector, two HDMI inputs and an audio output.
