WowWee unveils Roborover and Joebot robotsWowWee has now rolled out its latest pair of robots. This pair has been on our wish list since we first got word of them back at CES in January. Both the WowWee Roborover and WowWee Joebot are available to order for $79.99 and $99.99.

They can also be had in the “mini” versions for just $15. Each of the large robots can be controlled remotely or operate autonomously, play games and Roborover can even handle “rough terrain” and “inclines.”

WowWee Joebot dances, while Roborover is a shy geekAs always, WowWee has some new robots up it’s sleeve, despite branching out into other products. They look interesting as ever. What I like about their robots is that they actually infuse them with some personality.

In this case, Joebot is the large guy. A dancing rhythm robot that responds to beats. He’s the life of the party. The Roborover explorer on the other hand, starts out shy and gets bolder over time. I love the design on these guys. Full press release below.

Another thing of interest is the Spyball spy-cam, a remote controller, WiFi-enabled robotic ball. The company has more too. It doesn’t stop there. How about the Joebot and Roborover robots, FlyTech Lightstar flyer / Hoverpod racer, four brand new breeds of Alive Cubs and a fresh line of “pajama pals” called Sleeping Cuties.
