Mickey Mouse remote control

Posted in Remotes by Conner Flynn on August 2nd, 2010

Hardcore Disney fans will love this. It’s a remote shaped like Mickey Mouse. I find it very creepy as it has the feet and the ears, with no face at all. It’s as if Mickey has invaded remote controls all over the world and has begun to morph into something new. Something deadly.

Thank god it’s exclusive to Japan. This Mickey Mouse remote control comes with a stand which are shaped like the mouse’s shoes. Other than controlling the TV there’s also a voice button so you can hear 9 popular Mickey Mouse lines.

Remote-controlled 100 foot water cannonIn water warfare, he who has the most serious weaponry will rule. And this water cannon is serious. Unlike a water gun, you don’t even have to be anywhere near your enemy. That’s because this water cannon can hit a target from 100 feet away and works by being attached to a garden hose.

It even has a remote that works from up to 30′ away. The cannon features three different interchangeable nozzles. One for stream, mist or spray. Mist would be good for watering the lawn or cooling off on a hot day.

iRobot introduces second generation Looj

Posted in iRobot by Conner Flynn on January 8th, 2009

iRobot introduces second generation LoojOut of all the robots they could have introduced, it had to be the Looj. That gutter cleaning bot that is cool from a practical standpoint, but not so cool as far as robots go.

According to them, it has new features to make it more efficient. It drives easily under gutter straps, propelled by a three-stage auger that dislodges and eliminates all of that nasty dirt and gunk. It sports a new antenna, smart speed, and a battery door that doesn’t need tools to be opened. Yeah, not much to jump up and down about, but hey, gutters will be clean.

Remote Ray Gun channel changer

Remote Ray Gun channel changer
If you want a remote that says, “Freeze or I’ll turn your planet to rubble.”, or “Flash Gordon refuses to watch this crap any longer.” then this is for you.

Ray guns were a staple of Sci-Fi from the 40′s through the 60′s, isn’t it about time you changed channels with one? Damn straight. Cuz geeks are all about pretend, even when they’re watching some other people pretending to cruise through space on T.V. The price won’t zap you at only $18, but you’ll need to wait until August 16th when it’s available. This is great for fighting robots.

Wii Rifle GunHot on the heels of the Wii Zapper (for all your laser blasting needs) comes this little invention, the Wii Rifle Gun Prop. Wii Zapper The Wii Balance Board might have gotten the biggest show but it certainly wasn’t the only cool thing Nintendo unveiled today. The Wii Zapper is a controller accessory that holds both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk to make somewhat of an elaborate automatic weapon to use in game play. The sounds of on-screen battle can even be heard through the speaker on the Wii Remote.
