Xbox 360 line to be reduced to Arcade and Elite? |
Some leaked packaging images suggest that only two models of the Xbox 360 will be available in the future. Depicted in the above photo are current and planned boxes for the 360 Arcade; the latter box lists only one other 360, the 120GB Elite.
The Pro, in production since 2005, is MIA. It’s typically the best-selling Xbox system. The photo backs up earlier reports that Microsoft is phasing out the Pro. Game bundles may help clear out earlier stock, after which the Elite’s price is expected fall to that of the Pro in September.




MMA is one f the fastest growing sports in the world and events like the UFC and Strikeforce are selling out some of the biggest arenas around the globe. With the raging popularity of the sport, it’s no surprise that video games are starting to come out for fans to enjoy.
These “Deep Red” and “Metallic Blue,” controllers are the mot patriotic dualshocks we’ve ever seen. Combine them with a
EA and Dice have been working together on the fantastic Battlefield franchise for a long time now. Most of the games in the franchise have been sold on discs in retail outlets. The first download-only title from the two firms was Battlefield 1943 released earlier this month.
I am a fan of music games and have spent lots of time with Rock Band. It continues to bum me out that Logitech doesn’t offer any controllers for Rock Band even though it does make some of the coolest controllers for Guitar Hero.

I am a big fan of the Battlefield franchise and have played most of the games in the series. I really like games like this when they are set in modern times like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but going old school is cool too.

Sony has a fancy new seal that they want to start slapping on new products. Specifically onto approved third-party peripherals for their game consoles. It could mean that we can expect better accessories or it may be a bunch of BS that does nothing but add a seal to products.

According to Kotaku, Sony is touching base with developers and apparently the controller will launch in Spring 2010 (Next year’s E3 sounds right.) . Sony says that the controller will function “with any games across all genres from casual to [hard]core”.
Third-party wireless guitar controllers for the Xbox 360 have been hard to come by, but Logitech is leading the charge with this new Guitar Hero-licensed controller that’s similar to its PS3 and PS2 offerings, except that its orange, and Xbox 360-compatible.
This Hellboy Xbox 360 case mod is awesome. And very very red. It was made by Frank Gonzales, who has previously created a Gears of War and other case mods. He really outdid himself with this one. It looks as if it has just clawed it’s way free from hell and is ready for some serious gaming.
