The O-GPS1 is a GPS unit that allows geotagging of images. It attaches to your camera and allows the camera to add latitude, longitude, altitude, UTC capture time and direction as image metadata. Then you can use the data to place images in mapping software like Google Earth or just use it to organize your files.

If you own the K-5 and K-r models, you can use the ‘Astrotracer’ feature which predicts the movement of celestial objects and uses the sensor shift mechanism to track the movement to give astrophotographs with single points, rather than star-trails. Stargazers will love this feature.

The Pentax Rainbow K-r is pretty loud as far as colors on a camera go. If you like rainbows and need a new DSLR, then you might want to check out these limited edition cameras before they’re gone. This version is designed in collaboration with Tower Records.

We’ve had cameras in our phones forever now. We typically call them camera phones. Really they are phones with a camera inside. The phone is the priority, hence the crappy pictures that camera phones take. Well, LG has unveiled a new device that is a true camera phone. The device not only has a 12.1MP image sensor, but it also looks more like a camera than a phone.

It also features an ISO range of up to 3200 and has a Pentax 1:3.6-5.5 lens with 3x optical zoom. The LG L-03C can also record 720p HD video and has GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G. If you want a decent camera with a phone, this would be it.

The NB1000 from Pentax is all about customization. It is identical to the RS1000 and comes with a Lego-like body, allowing you to customize your camera with different blocks that come in several sizes and colors. It’s basically just a cheap ploy to get Lego fans buying the camera.

The NB1000 is a 14.1-megapixel camera with a 4x zoom. It is capable of recording 720p video too. Looks like this one is for the Japanese market only though. It will be available later this year for 20,000 Yen ($238).

Rayqual has new line of adapters that will be compatible with the upcoming Sony NEX-3 and NEX-5 cameras. These adapters will let you use Nikon, Canon FD, Pentax and Leica lenses on either Sony camera. Pretty sweet huh? The cameras are good looking too.

These modern lenses were specially designed for crop sensors, with minimal changes made to the focal length since the NEX series ocameras ship with APS-C sized sensors. This should give you some cool lens options.

Pentax is all about getting the most mileage of of its K-x DSLR. Why update hardware inside the camera when you can just slap a new color on the outside and apparently get people to buy the things. We have already seen the K-x in a color best left to PushUps.

The new version of the K-x that Pentax has unveiled today is ever uglier than that bright orange version from last month. The new K-x is only going to be offered in Japan and looks like a rainbow exploded.

Pentax has unveiled the Optio M90 which features a 5x zoom range. It also comes packed with a better face recognition system, and a soft-feel rubber finish on the body which is actually made of aluminum.

Some other features of the camera include a 2.7 inch color LCD monitor, high-sensitivity anti-shake mode, 30 fps video capture, multi-burst shooting feature and Arcsoft MediaImpression 2.0. The Pentax Optio M90 will cost you about £200 ($307) and should be available by mid-June of this year.

Pentax often offers multicolored DSLR cameras, but they’re usually available outside of the US. But now Pentax is offering several new colors for its K-x DSLR camera.

The camera is currently available in black or red, but will soon be joined by green, blue, orange and purple. The camera will cost you $650, and specifications will be exactly the same no matter what the color. Some of those specs include a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, 720p video recording and 4.7FPS burst shots.

Serious photographers will want to pass on these. If you are more of a comedian or just a weirdo however, you may be the type to paint a face on your lens cap and dangle a hand-made, ¥2,914 ($32) puppet from your camera.

Just be ready for people to run or just stare at you with a wtf gaze if you have a Kameraman puppet on your camera. There are several to choose from, and they all make you look like some demented perv.

Along with the rugged Optio W90 digital camera, Pentax has also unveiled a new superzoom camera called the X90. When they say superzoom, Pentax isn’t kidding around.

The camera has a 26x optical zoom lens equating to 26-676mm. The camera has a macro mode that can focus on objects only an inch away and a 12.1MP sensor. Other features include a 2.7-inch LCD, triple shake reduction, and 11fps burst shooting.

We have already talked about the cool new W90 from Pentax making its way to the UK soon. Those of us here in America really only want to know when the W90 will be available on this side of the pond. Pentax has offered up the details.

The W90 will ship in the US in April for $329.95. At the same time Pentax will offer an IR remote control for all Optio models that is waterproof for $29.95. With that thing you can take under water pics without having to hold the cam, I say strap the W90 to the back of a dolphin.

Pentax finally has a release date for its rugged Optio W90 in the UK. This rugged digital camera features 12.1 megapixels which is all good up six meters in depth. It will also handle drops of up to 1.2 meters.

Aside from that, the W90 is also dustproof and can survive in freezing temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius better than you can. The Optio W90 also features 720p. It should appear in the UK at the end of March for £269.99.

Pentax is offering a special limited edition K-7 DSLR with a special color. That color? Silver. Yeah, as if you’ve never seen a silver camera before. Only a thousand units will be available worldwide, so you can expect to pay a premium.

This limited edition version also has several enhancements, like a specially reinforced glass plate for additional protection for the LCD display, updated firmware and photo processing software. It’s also weatherproof. Want one in this special color?

Add another pink gadget to those already unleashed upon the world. At least this one isn’t branded with a Hello Kitty face, or even the word Barbie. Apparently Pentax would like to remind you that you can use its custom color shop in honor of this special day for lovers, to create a pink K-x DSLR.

So the company has rolled one out to go with the red, white, black and navy blue versions. It will cost you about $770 and will match your pink handbag which has a tiny pink dog in it.

Sure this looks like a toy, but we didn’t just get this camera out of our kids toybox. It’s a fully-functional dSLR. A limited edition Pentax K-x done up in the colors of Japan’s Kore Ja Nai robot. Only 100 Robotic Colors K-x units will be released in Japan starting this November.

They will be sold exclusively through Pentax’s online store for $880. Wow. Toy looks, tech price. Just be careful that your preschooler doesn’t get his/her hands on this.
