The new Onkyo UWF-1 wireless USB adapter helps you to remove unwanted cables from your life. It’s compatible only with Onkyo 2011 network receivers (the TX-NRxx9, HT-RC3XX, or later), TX-8050 network stereo receiver, and does not connect directly with computers.

The Onkyo UWF-1 also delivers an IEEE 802.11b/g/n connection so you can access music on a home network It will cost you just $49.97. Less wires is always a good thing.

G-Technology has unveiled its new G-Connect wireless storage solution for the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and other mobile devices. It packs in a 500GB hard disk drive and creates an 802.11n wireless network, allowing you to share content with up to five other devices simultaneously.

Other features include a USB 2.0 port, automatic discovery and organization of files into photos, videos, music, and documents categories, app-based access from iOS devices, password protection, a personal private folder, and AirPlay support. The G-Technology G-Connect will be launched next month for just $200.

Sony Ericsson has introduced the Sony Ericsson Txt Pro which focuses mostly on messaging and social networking. It comes with a friends application that lets you add 5 best friends and you can then instantly view Facebook and Twitter posts and updates.

It also packs in a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microUSB, WiFi and a 3.5mm audio jack. Look for it in Q3 this year for an unknown price.

If you have a computer that has slow wireless networking connectivity, you can always change the card out, but for some people that isn’t the answer. A USB network adapter that supports the faster tech might be easier.

Trendnet is here to help and they have a new USB network adapter that is dual band and will work at 2.4GHz or 5GHz. That means that HD video and other bandwidth heavy things can use the 5GHz band. The adapter has WPS for easy setup and a MIMO antenna for the 450Mbps transfer speeds. It will cost you $90.

Who says that all WiFi routers need to look out of place in your home? Not I and certainly not Netgear. The N750 keeps its antennae stashed inside and out of sight. Your wife will certainly appreciate that as it at least keeps a low profile.

It’s basically a 24-inch monitor. One that has a built-in browser, and will connect to the internet without being connected to a PC. But it does more than just surf the web. You can also watch movies on that 1080p display using Acer’s clear.fi software to stream video from other devices on the network. Sounds pretty sweet. Alot of screen real estate in a small space is always good.

The Sharp Free-Style AQUOS LC-20FEI also features DLNA support that allows you to access, store and watch content from your home network. It comes in black, white and pink colors and will be launched in Japan this June.

The $367 Hauppauge PCTV Broadway 2T will stream TV to any iOS device, Mac or PC with no third party app required. And Android support is expected to be added within a few weeks. It doesn’t require a computer either. It connects to your wired or wifi network and contains dual DVB-T tuners to enable streaming of a TV signal to a host device either over a home network or the internet.

The 2T also features USB and video inputs so you can stream video from your USB device or set top box. You can even connect it to an analog camera to create a remote home surveillance system viewable on an iPad or iPhone. This is one handy device that should be well worth the money.

Roku made a grand entrance onto the retail scene on Wednesday, by landing a deal with Best Buy. The stores will carry the Roku XD both in retail and online. This is the first time one of the company’s networked media hubs will be available at stores across the US without a rebranding.

To refresh your memory, the XD can play 1080p video, supports 802.11n Wi-Fi and has a remote with the instant replay button. It lacks the dual-band Wi-Fi, component video out and USB of the XDS, but both can do Amazon Video, Hulu Plus, Netflix, and live sports from the MLB and NHL.

An FCC filing has confirmed that Cisco is developing a Wi-Fi version of its Flip Video cameras. The M3260 has been tested using 802.11n Wi-Fi along with the HDMI and USB connectors. The purpose of the wireless is probably to share video on a local network and maybe even upload video directly to YouTube or Facebook.

We don’t know what the camera will be like outside of the Wi-Fi, or when it will ship. It should be $200 or under to fit into the marketplace.

Cirago recently released their CMC3200 media player and their NUS2000 USB network storage link. The new CMC3200 media player is being called the only 1080p system and it will deliver up to 2TB of storage space, with a Wi-Fi adapter and a year’s worth of PlayOn. The price is $299.99.

The NUS2000 Link+ adapter will deliver remote access capabilities to up to four USB-connected storage devices and will cost $100. Do either of these sound good to you? Then bring them home.

The Epson WorkForce 840 All-in-One was announced at CES 2011 and one of the first things you notice is that they have crammed a bunch of features into a fairly compact frame. The price is $300(Down to $199 on their site already). It’s ideal for the small office at that price for what it packs in. The 840 will do the usual printing, copy, scan, and fax. It will scan to your PC or to e-mail and can print from or scan to memory cards or USB drives. It will also print or copy multiple pages onto a one sheet.

The Veebeam creates a point-to-point, 150Mb/s wireless connection between the USB Antenna and the receiver, so you can stream media without using your home network, and therefore not bottleneck it for other users.

JVC’s new in-dash GPS navigation systems will offer some music to go with their navigational help. The KW-NT50HDT and KW-NT30HD feature 6.1-inch displays along with HD radio and iPhone connectivity via USB. With ClearChannel’s iheartradio app, you can check out song and artist information and scan channels from either the navigation device or your iPhone.

The NT50HDT comes with a free lifetime subscription to the Total Traffic HD+ Network, which will give you data like traffic reports, news, and weather. Both devices have WAAS navigation, map coverage of all 50 US states, Canada and Puerto Rico, and voice guidance in English, French, and Spanish.

The iTwin USB storage device has finally begun shipping, but the first batch is limited to just 50 units.
